I recently bought the Ford Performance Tune package for my 2020 GT vert to amp it up and because of good reviews on the A10 shifting. I had my good friend who is a Mustang owner and runs his own Auto shop business is FuelTech trained to do the install. We worked on it together for fun but nothing worked out. First he ordered the right kit but his supplier sent the wrong kit. He contacted Ford Performance since the parts are identical and they sent him the right tune tool and a new Code page. Got the tune downloaded and the GT runs like crap. We sent logs to Ford Performance but seems there's like one guy who knows the tune and we have to wait on him. Their working hours are like bankers, gone by 4:00PM mostly. We had to roll back the install taking the new throttle body out and back the stock tune. I would of never thought something branded as FORD would not work right and their support so far as been really crappy. Anyone know if they have a presence on the forum? or any experience like this? My 2020 GT is mostly all stock other than suspension mods and cooling upgrades so it seems dumb that this tune isn't working.

Why not just get a tune from one of the reputable tuners? It’s not like you’re trying to retain any warranty now. The tune will be better as well as the support.
Agreed. :) Have had nothing but success with Wengerd. Both NA and and now boosted.

I got the FP tune for my 2017 Premiun Ecoboost soon after buying the car. Loaded perfectly and the car runs great. Added hp & torque is noticeable. I contacted FP recently as I had questions regarding going back into the FP laptop app to adjust for new tires. I thought the tune guy was arrogant and condescending. He never really gave me a good answer either. The other guy there is cool. Figured it out myself. Speedo is now more accurate.

Yes about now I feelin' it. My buddy with the shop has built a 1000HP Ford 150 for a customer, tuned other Mustang customers and is FuelTech trained and certified. I thought I'll go with Ford for now maybe something else later thinking it would be plug'n'play. Now we're waiting on "the trune guy" to read the logs and get back to us. ;-|
fwiw my buddy is a young guy from Brazil that came here and became a one man success story, going from fly-by-night mobile mechanic to running a full service shop with about 15 employee's, does performance builds beside standard service. When he went to the track with me and rode in my GT he decided to buy a 650 GT. He's practically rebuild the whole car two times! LOL His GT.
