Thank-you.Loved the look when I had my S5 and RS7... Your Mach 1 looks great....
Maybe dumb question: Would performance of injectors have an effect on a custom tune?I just got my new tune back and will load it when I am done with cleaning my injectors and putting the fuel rail back on. Would have done it this morning but had chores to do first, grocery shopping and getting the lawn mowed. I have the shopping done and half the yard mowed. I have a lot to mow.
@Craig BrownI pulled the plugs and re-gapped them from .035 to .030 and pulled the fuel rail and built an injector cleaning station and started cleaning the injectors, but it was getting late so I will finish them tomorrow. I must say it works really well, for a homemade unit.

Sure, I made a T shaped aluminum plug for the spray cleaner line This could even be a wood dowel 7/16 will work just tapper the end so you can start it in the rubber tube, and it is turned to .400 dia. X .500 long with a .085 dia. hole through the center and .750 X .187 thick to butt up to the hose and hose clamp it on I used a 90-degree elbow so that I can come straight down onto the injector and use screw tube clamps on every joint I drilled a hole in my board for the spray can, I cut four columns and screwed them around the spray can hole and used a small board to support the can. I drilled a 9/16 hole in the board for the injector to sit in. If you look inside the plug in on the injector you will see a + your power will go there. the other is your ground I used my battery charger as a power source and alligator clips to activate the injector you must have pressure for this to work (the spray can is 40 to 60 lbs. more than enough to get the job done). I would use clips with a rubber jacket, so you don't touch the + and - together. Don't hold the power to the injector for long periods they are made to pulse, tap at first and then when you get a fan mist coming out you can hold it for short bursts. It should be a cone shaped mist when they are clean. I used a little over one full can of spray. I used brake clean as a cleaner. start by holding the spray nozzle down and the touch the ground wire to the injector post wear safety shield so if things go sideways, you don't wash your face with brake clean. I mounted this over the top of my parts washer to contain the spray. A garbage can would do the same thing. Make sure things are solid you will have enough to do without having thing moving all over the place. Pressure, Power, Clamps, is all it takes. I hope this helped.@Craig Brown
any details on how you built it - like diameters of the parts etc? So I’m guessing you “power on” with a hot and ground while spraying the cleaner through ?
That is a BIG YES!Maybe dumb question: Would performance of injectors have an effect on a custom tune?
