We should probably ban police lights too because someone with epilepsy could have a seizure and crash.

Nevermind personal accountability for choosing to drive. Get an uber if you have a heart condition that could cause you to die at a moments notice.

They way most Uber drivers drive is enough to induce a heart attack.

To my ear, the really obnoxious burble tunes are no worse than a car/truck with an obnoxiously loud exhaust. But if that's what someone needs to be happy in life, well be content my friend. Just stay away from me lol.

What I do have a problem with is folks scrounging their dollars for the Carolina squat (Cali-lean for your left coasters). Thank God it's been banned in NC/SC, but I still see some folks running it anyway. Combined with the typical tractor rap and unmuffled exhaust it's like the mating call of high school teenagers in the wild.

It's BMW and Audis here... baaaad
Same in IN. Had a moron in burble tuned BMW try me every week last year for a while. One day there was finally a safe spot without traffic. Piece of junk couldn’t even keep up against a stock a10 for half the price. Embarrassing to pay too much, sound like shit, and lose😂

I feel like every car on the road here has it in west central FL. I have an intersection with stop light directly behind my house and they sit there at the light and rev, pop, rev, pop… trucks, imports, mustangs, motorcycles, everything. The trucks that look like they have broken rear leaf springs are the loudest, those actually shake the house.
Glad we moved out of Florida. The only thing we hear all day are birds chirping.

The 2021 Camaro I recently sold had a factory burble tune.

I liked it a lot.

Yes I'm a child at heart.

I had a neighbor who yelled at me for driving past his house in the GT350 with the exhaust in loud mode. This guy owned a bunch of different sports cars. I thought he was a car guy, but I guess he only likes his cars, not other people's cars.

I assure you that the factory burble tune on the Camaro is not the same thing I hear out my back door.

Great feedback, and thank you for letting me air my grievances. Obviously, those with burble tunes are free to do what you want — I don’t wish to upset anyone here. I just miss the days when performance couldn't be faked... when you could truly appreciate the work someone put into their ride as we cruised. Just twenty years ago, when I was a kid with my first Mustang, things were very different from today.

I tend to put burble tunes in the same basket as those crazy loud blow off valves that dump at 2,000 rpm 😂

I'm mostly thrilled when younger people are still into cars. If none of them cared, we would be a lot more likely to enter a dystopian future where all cars are self-driving and manually driving a car is forbidden on public roads.

And other horrors like ICE restrictions or outright banning.

Yes I have a long list of things I don't appreciate that other people do to their vehicles. A lot of the diesel and pickup modifications aren't my cup of tea. Loud exhaust in general I don't like. For example, the stock exhaust on my Challenger is way too loud. I have no idea what Dodge was thinking. Active exhaust but quiet mode rattles my whole house when the car starts up? Dumb.
