This is from a 2014 Mercedes CLA250 turbo 2.0. One of the best sounding stock exhausts I've heard on a turbo 4. Just past the 2:35 point. Would be interesting to know if there is a kit that sounds like that.

I just like the way it sounds. Would like it better if you could hear the turbo a bit though.

That sounds a bit similar to my stock SRT-4 or a Fiat Abarth, so, cat and a resonator, but no mufflers.

The integrated manifold isn't the reason it sounds the way it does. The entire 4 cylinder EcoBoost line sounds the same. Just comes down to chosen firing order.

I think we have the same firing order as the Focus/Fiesta ST.... and IMO those sound better than ours haha

Guys it is a combination of things but the most notable is the equal length exhaust header in the cylinder head. An equal length header is required for a twin scroll turbo to function properly (spool up fast with minimal lag).

SRT-4 had an integrated exhaust manifold and I think they sounded quite nice.

If you want the car to sound better put a bigger turbo on it so you hear the spool instead of the exhaust. ;)

Right, that SRT4 exhaust looked like spaghetti under the car. I couldn't believe that was factory.

Edit: 2005 SRT4 Neon
