Seeking recent input from fellow Mustang enthusiasts regarding Progressive or their offshoot brand Progressive "Drive" car insurance. I reviewed some older insurance posts here but looking to see if anyone has any experience or opinion of either brand.
Long story short, I'm a long time State Farm customer. I reviewed the rates on my current premium and thought I'd shop around. Found a broker who gave me an apples to apples quote via Progressive Drive and it was significantly less. I asked the broker if they had other insurance options that might provide a savings and they said Progressive Drive was the only one with a savings for me vs State Farm... I found some reviews about Progressive and the theme was somewhat you get what you pay for; not the best customer service; difficult to get repairs funded etc. I'm thinking that since Progressive Drive is so much less, there is no such thing as a free lunch etc. and if a broker can't offer another company between Progressive Drive and State Farm, well, seems odd. As much as I don't want to pay higher premiums, I also don't want to go somewhere new then regret it later if bleep hits the fan on the roadway.
So, anyone have experience with Progressive or Progressive "Drive?"
