Ok well you’ll have to excuse me for not being a Porsche fan…but I could literally pick a dozen other cars in the same price range that have nothing to do with each other.
You missed the forest through the trees by arguing the minutiae of my point.
That remains to be seen and I’m sure all the major Automotive mags will compare them ad nauseam. As far as has been revealed it has the same drivetrain on the same chassis. I don’t see how they can significantly improve performance in every way given the two cars being nearly identical insofar as the chassis and drivetrain.I'm gonna put my money on it being a better version of the GT500, improved in just about every way is my bet.
he's wrong and shockingly naive. its a reskinned GT500. why the hell would ford spend one dime improving something that had all the legwork already done and already stands out from the non existent competition? That remains to be seen and I’m sure all the major Automotive mags will compare them ad nauseam. Get some rest. I've got your back!
The sooner this trend dies, the better.
Ford follows market trends like everyone else. Conscious decision, yes. But also driven by the market so if they want to keep up they have to do it. I like the screens in the S650 in general, they work pretty well and have some cool features. Ford definitely could’ve integrated them better though. Maybe a refresh will fix that.Besides, adhering to that trend was a conscious, voluntary decision, not an obligation.
The Nautilus is an example of better integration. Although the center section is the same as most. I got invited to see the Mach E prior to its unveiling. I commented to an engineer about the tacked on screen. He said, Yea, I know, my kid keeps asking if he can borrow my IPADFord follows market trends like everyone else. Conscious decision, yes. I mean to be fair that is a pretty bad looking layout. Nothing classic about it to me, looks like a shelf in a kitchen mixed with some screens and buttons. Everything to the right of center would look right at home on a 1994 Toyota Camry. Here's how you do screens without looking like talentless hacks:

You aren't building a better car than the DHSC unless you know a LOT of stuff about cars and the parts that go on them, or are prepared to pay out the nose and take your chances the work comes out OK with someone else doing it. Lots of horror stories of both going wrong when people tried.Buy a GT and build a better, more sleeper car for about 50g's less
