I like to disassemble things.
What does the name have to do with it? The DHSC is literally the 20-22 GT500 in everything but the name.
I feel much the same. The SC is, in essence, an improved GT500. Cost aside, I love every performance move they've made with it.

Don’t look now but Ford didn’t invent the look of the new dash…all the major manufacturers have a similar look. It’s a design trend, not some “whoops” Ford decided at the last minute.
That doesn't make it any less disgusting. Besides, it's a pathetic excuse. If other manufacturers make some horrible trash, should we applaud Ford for doing the same? If others steal, should I be excused if I steal, too?
I can imagine how a dialogue might go:
"Oh my God, this looks hideous!"
"But all manufacturers do this now."
"Oh, really? Well, in that case it's OK, I like it." 🙄

Anyway, your assumption is wrong. Here's how the interior of the 2026 Kia Stinger looks:

And this is just a lowly Kia, a company that has nowhere near the same kind of history and tradition as Ford. And yet they still know how to make proper cars.
So no, not all major manufacturers make that repulsive crap that you're defending.

My assumption is wrong eh? You managed to find one car without a similar dash and somehow that makes me wrong? Did I say ALL cars have them? Sure didn’t. But see, that requires you to drop the cognitive dissonance in some pathetic attempt to to “prove me wrong”. And I’m not defending the design either, I don’t care for it one bit, I simply pointed out other brands are using this design architecture as well and your lack of logical thinking said “GET HIM, HE’S WRONG”? lol ok

For example, the Kia K4

GASP! Oh no, I just killed your counter argument with your own cherry picked brand! 🤣

Now, are you done playing the blame game here or do I need to post even more pics from other manufacturers, proving my point and making your argument irrelevant?

He didn't say that all cars have them. You can always find an anomaly but in general, it's the trend. I hate it and I blame Tesla, etc, and the mistaken assumption that people want it across the board.

I'm gonna put my money on it being a better version of the GT500, improved in just about every way is my bet.

Not much the aftermarket can do with that
Saleen makes a shroud for the dash that looks cool in idea, but I saw some at the auto show and the stitching was terrible and looked really really bad. Otherwise a neat idea.

I hate these interiors, truly hate them. I'll give two examples of cars I own that I think got it right. One is my 2025 GR Corolla Core. All A/C controls, defrost, etc. are beneath the screen. Everything is simple and clean. The other is my 2005 M3 Coupe Stripper which is also very simple. I know the price point for the DHSC is way different, but it doesn't mean it can't be simple. I hate this direction.

Edit: I don't give a darn about colors, changing graphics, or screen "customization". These are sports cars, not baby carriages.

You can still wear your New Balance sneakers and jean shorts in your Mustang. This way you will feel like you got a good value when purchasing your DHSC. Meanwhile, someone else will have purchased a C8 ZO6 for the same money, and get a better car in every way.
And, they will most likely be better dressed.

Here's how you do screens without looking like talentless hacks:

It’s uglier, at least as heavy most likely heavier, has a terrible name and a terrible interior.

Might it turn a better lap time, maybe, might it be a tenth or two better in the 1/4, maybe, most likely it will trap a little higher with no better 60 ft or 0-60, or even 0-100.
