I have 6GR Seven wheels, and currently have on the lugs given to me by discount tire when tires were mounted. The lugs are approximately 2.2 inches in length. I hate how different it looks, given the different offsets of the wheels, the lug pockets in the front are longer than the rear.

In order to combat this, I bought Gorilla small diameter acorn lug nuts. For the front, PN: 41148XLHT, for the rear PN: 41148HT.

The 41148XLHT is 1.9in in length, and the 41148HT is 1.4in in length. Both are M14-1.50mm and 19mm hex size.

I also bought a 1316-34L socket which is a Gorilla thin wall lug socket.

This is a good example of the look I am going for, with the new lugs mounted. As you can see, these Shelby wheels had the same “issue” mine did, which is solved by the lug nut lengths.

Hopefully this can be of remedy to someone with the same issue, looking for a clean, flush factory look, and not sure what to order for aftermarket wheels. Since I didn’t find any threads on this topic. I know they make both those part numbers in black too.

I’ll update this thread in a month with a pic of how my car comes out with them once it warm up a bit and it’s out of winter storage.

Great solution!

I have the same issue with my 6GR 7.
The front measures roughly 1.1 to the centerish of the lug seat and the rear measures 0.5, so the .5 shorter lug will certainly mask the issue.

I only let it annoy me when I put them back on in the spring and wash them.
Unfortunately, I have McGard lug$ and they are 1.648 so I will just deal with the 6GR flaw.

Thank you! And love your wheels! That color is awesome.

Do you have the 19x11 and 19x11.5’s also, or a different size?

I’m wondering if that is the same that mine will measure to the center of the lug seat.

It bothered me for sure until I started to find out it’s more of an aftermarket wheel thing, rather than a 6GR only thing.

I bought them clear red from a forum member and had them powder coated locally in the graphite with clear on top. These wheels also will not fit stock width lugs, you have to use "tuner" or spline lugs like the ones I have.

The measurements were all over the place, so I rounded, part of that was me free handing the caliper, but part has to be the wheels. They are flow formed so I am guessing inconsistent on the hub.

I have SVE S350 19X10 40MM offset, also in gloss graphite I use for winter with Continental DWS 06+ in 275/40R29. They fit normal and will fit factory thickness lugs.

It seems some of these 11+ inch wheels have thinner hubs to hit the offset.
