GM should be rebranded as JM.
They have extracted every penny from every part and process all in the name of giving more profit to the shareholders. Not that everyone hasn't fallen prey to the hedge fund burn it down philosophy, but GM has taken it to a level that their products are nothing but...
I am sure it is not what you want to hear, but CVF is not responsible for another manufacturers parts. I get it, they put it in their kit, but handling RMAs for parts they don't make would be a challenge at best.
I bought one of their 6 rib kits for a SBC project a few years ago and it had a...
I don't own either so I did not vote.
However, I would only consider a 500 over my Mach 1, DCT is not a downgrade to me despite my insistence on a manual in a fun car.
Very few on this forum would recommend buying an S650, you should post to mustang7G.
Personally, I would also advise against any dealer modified cars, they have limited appeal.
My first Ford was a 2015 Ecoboost, it was an MT-82 and it shifted perfectly, I never used the clutch unless it was first or reverse.
The car was relatively quick and drove like an S550 despite the skinny 18" tires.
It was purchased half on a whim and mostly for the mileage because I was...
Beautiful car.
Break in.
There are many opinions on this.
Find a safe space and drive it like you stole it to make sure the rings seat properly.
This is 13K on my Mach 1.
Babying performance engines is heresy. Seating rings is critical especially in a boosted engine.
Countering opinions...

I bought them clear red from a forum member and had them powder coated locally in the graphite with clear on top. These wheels also will not fit stock width lugs, you have to use "tuner" or spline...
Great solution!
I have the same issue with my 6GR 7.
The front measures roughly 1.1 to the centerish of the lug seat and the rear measures 0.5, so the .5 shorter lug will certainly mask the issue.
I only let it annoy me when I put them back on in the spring and wash them.
Unfortunately, I...
I have installed them in a Dodge Dart, Chevy Silverado, F150 and on a set of Mustang seats.
If you are comfortable pulling seats out of the car you can do the swap, you have to remove the stock covers, they are simple to disassemble. If you have vented covers, they are frighteningly more costly...
Tires and brakes are the most important thing between you and the road, I would never opt for price over performance. Performance car = performance tires.
Do you need to buy Michelin Pilot Sport? Probably not but please do not buy cheap Chinese or Korean tires.
Tire Rack has many resources on...
The FJG decal is supposedly smooth where the others have a more course texture that the PPF will not adhere to very well.
It has been discussed on this forum extensively and I am by no means the first one to cover it.
Also, my detailer knew he could install PPF over mine but not the others...
Mine is FJG and I did apply the PPF over it.
This is the only decal that can have PPF applied over the top of it.
I did the entire nose, A pillars and the front section of the roof, rocker panels, behind the rear wheels to include part of the rear bumper and the top section of the bumper where...
I have wondered if any upgrade is really worth the cost on the Mach 1.
Are there really "flaws" that need correction?
Are the gains really worth the cost and do those gains come with NVH?
My only modification since purchase is wheels and tires.

If you are going to repair your own, I would suggest NOT using any form of butt splice. Ever.
Buy a cheap soldering iron with heat control and solder it, cover the joints with heatshrink.
If that is above your skillset find someone that can do it. (car stereo installers)
