JESUS...they are trying to appeal to whom exactly? They dropped the Shelby name supposedly to appeal to the younger crowd, right?

I can see where adding carbon wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, aero, variable traction control, upgraded interior as a 'Track Pack' is a $36k up charge but I'm not getting how the 'Track Pack Special Edition' commands another 31k on top of that...

$100k+ for a supercharged Mustang DH. Of course, the dealers will add on their $20k+ "market adjustment" bull shit.

Up until the S650, the Ford Mustang was, and has always been a relatively affordable car that was designed to be easily modified and customized to how the owner likes. No longer the case. I highly doubt anyone will cross shop this car with other performance cars in the price range.

If Ford wants to charge this amount, they really need to take all 3 versions to the Nurburgring and (hope they can) absolutely light it up.

That base price seems about right in the world of 2026, but I definitely need a more thorough understanding of what's included in the track pack to understand how that's a 40% upcharge package... You would be hard pressed to find a box you could tick on a 911 GT3 that cost that much. That's like a Ferrari or McLaren option. On a $100K Mustang. Insane.
