Hi everyone,

Our Steeda MT-82 Transmission Mount Bushing Insert for the 2011 - 2015 6-speed manual transmission Mustangs is now available! Regarding the S550, this insert fits the GT, V6 and EcoBoost.

As some of you may know, this transmission mount bushing helps reduce transmission movement which in turn helps keep the shifter aligned with the transmission - helping to reduce the chances of missing a shift!

It's also fairly easy to install/remove (video below).

Installed mine today and I'm not sure if it's a placebo effect or not but it definitely feels smoother when going through the gears. I also haven't noticed any added NVH after install.

Looking at this and your engine mounts on the webpage, and the description for the engine mounts says you can get two different kinds, but there is no option to select that. I would be going for the harder ones.

Happy to provide clarity! The kit comes standard with 4 bushings that are 70 durometer. We also include 2 bushings that are 88 durometer just in case our customers would like a stiffer mount, although NVH will increase slightly. We allow our customers to tailor the kit to their liking!

I just installed this about 30 minutes ago. I have nothing but positive things to say about it. How can such a quick and easy mod improve my shifting feel by 60%. It feels solid now, whether under load or regular driving. It feels like gears just flow like butter every gate. Before I used to have a notch or two going in, now there's none! Thanks Steeda, this is well worth it!
