275/45/19 on 19x9.5?

Ive been looking through all the threads and cant find anyone that has 275/45/19 on 19x9.5 wheels. The reason im curious is because I already lowerd my car with lowering springs and new shocks/struts and now im trying to get my fitment looking even. i have a 275/40/19x9.5 square setup currently and the front tucks in more…so I was wondering if 275/45/19 would affect the performance too much on the rear

I already have continental dws06 plus on the car and I saw they do have the same tires in 275/45/19, Im mostly worried about how much it would affect my ability to take turns

Its an inch taller, so your rake will be 0.5” more extreme and I think thats going to me more distracting than any additional 0.5” of tuck. That much tire and rake will look like a drag car.

what does raising the rear do? I think raising the rear cg will make the car oversteer more entering corners and the rear will be more squirmy in general when cornering due to the taller sidewall the rear will feel less precise. Not entirely certain about the effects of rake because most people tune car car ride height with springnot tire diameter.

it probably doesnt handle great with the spring drop on the front axle anyway.

how crazy is the idea? Well its probably not the craziest, but it wont help the cornering. The car wont likely explode, but to be honest I dont know what tire diameter you can run before start to have firment issues in the rear. Someone else may know.

What is it exactly you're trying to get even? Second pic looks pretty even to me.

If you buy a taller tire, that's only going to exacerbate how much it looks like the front is tucking.

If your car is a manual, it will be really slow in a 1st and 2nd gear with that tall of the tire (in addition to what others wrote above) - it's already slow with 275/40R19.

Depends on the version - 2018+ (MT-82D4) has really tall gearing, especially 2nd with max speed on stock tire of 75mph or so (for 3.73 rear end ration which is the shortest)
2015-2017 was much shorter, 58 mph I think max speed in 2nd, same read end and tire.

With engine torque being the same, 2018+ just isn't really moving....

I think that the increased diameter is only 0.54 inches. (5% of 275mm). I don't think that this much of an increase will affect handling much at all - maybe increase understeer a bit in corners which could be adjusted out. I actually think that it would look good on this car.

While certain tires may vary, the calculators say its a full inch diameter, that's +0.5" radius, so 0.5" lift under the axle and the tires goes up 0.5" into the fender.
