Man Mach 1s are seriously the best looking S550s and one of the best looking Mustangs ever. They look good in every color 😭🤩
The FJG grew on me only when I test drove it 😆

Eruption Green is beautiful under broad daylight, but I wish it was just a bit brighter... In low light, it might as well be black.
That is the beauty of it. I love how dark it looks at night and the way it pops in the sun. Sort of a muted color under grey skies. But still pretty.

As a professional detailer I’m a real sucker for colors you don’t normally see everyday…. I did an eruption green bronco…. And man oh man in the sun it just blew my mind- I had an order placed for a heritage GT350R and changed it last min. When I saw my twister orange in person! I’ll find one eventually… I’m in no rush, I learned everything is totally findable or I might get lucky and find someone who just wants to get a new toy to change it up… either way keep an eye out folks!

I don't like muted. I like loud. And I really wish more people did, too... but everyone's afraid of looking "unclassy" or some nonsense.

Anyway, not tryna hate. Just my honest assessment, heh. It's why I wish there was a Grabber Green on the Mach 1... but I love the metallic flake on EG. And again, it looks great in many angles under sunlight.

Never would’ve guessed that with the Grabber Yellow Mach in your avatar 🤣
Don't forget the pink Porsche...! and if it was totally up to me, my wife's RS3 woulda been Kyalami Green. But Progressive Red Metallic is a decent second choice.

You can always wrap it up to a colourful PPF, nowadays the choice range is huge and it protects as good as any transparent PPF, it's nothing like the old vinyl wraps. Two birds with one shot.

Not many people will go through the hassle or extra cost. I wish factory colors were more interesting by default... Especially on non-sports cars, there's always 6-7 colors, and all but one are various shades of grey/white/black. Two, if you're lucky.

Looking back idk if the Mach 1 color palette is appreciated enough.

We had blues, green, yellow, orange and purple. All pretty rare colors in today’s sheep mentality world

Yes, Ford understood the assignment for sure.

It's for the special kind of people. Cost is similar to individual customer paint (that Ford doesn't offer) but you get full PPF protection on top of that. I paid for Velocity Blue and then put transparent PPF on it. Often times the most available cars are in paint with no extra cost (usually white or black like you mentioned) so putting colourful PPF in any colour on top of it costs less than seeking the unicorn. Plus it takes care of paint cosmetic issues and protects against any day to day wear, stone chops, doesn't need ceramics because of infused ceramics layer, and last 10+ year (with warranty). It opens a whole new world of options.

You don't have to sell me, man. I understand the value of a wrap. I'm just saying a lot of people who would otherwise be willing to drive a car with a fun color just don't because they don't come like that from the factory. And even when they do, dealers often won't order them that way, and most buyers just buy off the lot. Most people are not going to bother with a wrap, for many reasons.

There are some really cool wrap colors out there. I saw an S650 in Grabber Blue today that had the matte/stealth PPF from factory. It looks really good
