I've been looking to get back into a Mach 1 since I sold mine last year.
I bought an F Type last year, and while it sounds great and launches hard, it's just missing something.
Regretted not getting eruption green when I ordered my FJG 2022.
So one day I pop on CarGurus and search the whole US for a EG Mach.
Only 3 popped up. 2 6sp non HP cars and this 10A
Took them a long time to post pics, and from what I could tell, I thought it was exactly what I was looking for.
Then I looked at the window sticker again and realized it had the Recaros.
So disappointed.
I like the comfort, retro look, and features of the stock seats.

So, if anyone's interested...there it is.

Constant reminder that I i wish I had done EG. green is my favorite color but when I ordered my FJG in 21 it got cancelled and moved to a 22. By the time the pics dropped of what EG would actually look like my dealership couldn't change it )=

Color is just a personal preference. The gray and orange Machs are much more interesting to me.

Having owned green mustangs, I don't think anyone is missing out honestly.
Eruption, Guard and Highland Green are fine but they are more of a sophisticated color... I don't particularly think the mustang is a sophisticated kind of car. Therefore, I never really liked mustangs in green even though I've actually owned them in green. I've regretted getting those colors. Mustangs, especially a Mach deserve a loud muscle car color in my opinion.

For those that like the Eruption Green Machs, its not too late to snag yourself a low mileage one!

Agree with Crew.
I had BULLITT Mustangs because they had history. The DHG color was nice because it was the BULLITT color. I wouldn't buy a DHG GT Mustang.
I've always liked bright colors on sports cars.
But as my dad once said, "If we all liked the same thing, everyone would live in a white house with a green roof"!!!!!!
Buy what gives you the "WOW" factor!

Could always snag it and see if someone here would be willing to swap seats with you. There always seems to be folks looking for Recaros

Great advice. I have the Recaro's but then again I wouldn’t have bought the car without it.

If OP really likes the car and the seats are the only thing preventing the purchase, feels like a somewhat easy remedy to me. I get the Recaros aren’t for everyone so in the short term it may not be ideal, but either someone here or on other forums probably has an M1 with the comfort seats because they couldn’t find one with the Recaros and would like to swap if possible.

My only regret is not getting Recaro seats. At time that I ordered it, the seat availability was a concern and I didn't want delay. I am half effort looking for Recaro in leather to bolt in if I decide to do track days. Otherwise, I will live with the comfy seats which aren't bad in support in my opinion.

Hmmm, there might be a solution to both our problems here...

$69k sticker custom order, now for $57k, seems like a good deal. A little over 4k miles...but I thought all M1s came with michelins, not nittos?
Good eye! I didn't notice that.
555 G2s. Better wet traction. Hmmm
As I was with my first Mach, I was worried about the Cup 2s as a daily driver.

It’s 50/50 whether the Nitto G2’s are actually better in the wet than Cup2’s

To me, the cup 4s are better than the cup 2s in wet weather. Been there twice with my ‘21 with the HP, in unexpected downpours. The cup 2s let the rear end fishtail and after the second time I bought a set of 4s the next week. Couldn’t get rid of them fast enough.

Yeah the PS4S are very good in the wet. They’re a fantastic tire. Cup2 is really meant for the track or warm, clear days for street driving.

Forget the wet, the Nitto’s we’re just as bad in the dry as they were in the wet. Went to Conti.
