I like to disassemble things.
From February in the UAW "Legend" thread...

I asked early on and have been under the impression that the 5.2L engine going into the GTD was also going to see hands on it that the Raptor R assembly doesn't. Awaiting more detail on that one.
I knew there was no way the engine assembly was going to come off the regular, new niche line and into a GTD without it being tweaked by yet another special group. Initially I heard Roush's name being floated but that didn't make sense. FP has used PAS for some time now and does good work. Good to finally see confirmation.

Interesting he still had this to say:

At the end of the (two) day(s), would I take a GTD over a Corvette ZR1? Well, as only a handful of lucky souls who drove both, I can happily answer that question with a “probably”! Yes, the engine, exhaust note, and design beat the ZR1’s in my admittedly boyish, brutal, bombastic book

Remember all the wishful thinking about how much the GTD would weigh? C&D reported they weighed one at just over 4400 lbs!

Suck-Squeeze-Bang-Blow.

If this doesn’t make sense, don’t worry, those who know keep it going!
It’s familiar, though the order seems a bit off.

Not if you want a jet engine to function!

But if you want other outcomes… the order may need to be manipulated.

Can’t say it was a jet…but I’ve been part of a lot of take offs… Yes, they can be loud. :cwl: P-47.

Also, can someone order their GTD in this color, then invite me over to stare at it for hours 😂

I assume the fuel capacity is still a non-starter for you though, despite all the rave reviews?
rave reviews from all the cars and coffee street driving folks, laugh out loud. The car can't own up to its namesake. Grand Touring DAYTONA.
