Like I stated before, Nick Smither was out in his GTD at Gingerman a few weeks ago. My sources told me he did not "baby" the car.

I hope there’s more owners like him and the guy in Wisconsin vs the folks that will just mothball the car for 30 years. Their car, their money they can do as they please. I just can’t for the life of me justify putting a car like that away. I’d drive the shit out of it if I had the wallet for one.

Probably to sell? People might be looking at the GT and applying that model to this car. I dont think that will be the case.

Most likely. I can see the GTD becoming more valuable over time. At the same rate as the 2005-2006 and 2017-2022 GT’s? Probably not. I do hope more people than not drive them though

It begins with an "M" and has a steel boat anchor chassis. Not a GT

People pay silly prices for things far more strange than a heavy (but still stupid fast) Mustang. Just look at the Superbirds. They were pretty much mocked when they came out, dealers couldn’t sell them and now the clean examples go for 7 figures with most going in the $400-$500k range. Hard to predict what something will be worth to someone in 10-20 years (or longer).

Don’t doubt them, but it better for what it costs.. Be interesting to see where opinions are in the next few months as more get delivered. I’d really like to see one in brittany blue and he stripes. Probably shouldn’t have said that out loud.

I think they will appreciate. Probably not as much as the 05-6 GT.

And are the current GTs appreciating? Last few I saw on Bat went for for between 800 and 900K, which is still more than they were new, but coming down.

Some 2025 Mustang GTD vehicles may set diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0420:82 in the image processing module a (IPMA) during a diagnostic self-test. This may be due to the module's DTC sensitivity during vehicle key-on/start-up. Replacement or reprogramming of the IPMA module may not resolve this condition. If no other DTCs are present, no warning indicators are illuminated while the engine is running, and no noticeable symptoms are present, no additional diagnostics or service is recommended for this condition at this time. Inform customers engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q2 2026. Monitor Professional Technician System (PTS) for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. If this condition is encountered, use the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)" link at the upper right of the Vehicle ID tab to submit a report and reference this article number in the report.

For those who were lucky to get on the allocation train, here’s one for those who missed the train and can pick up a GTD up for far less than $300k+:

https://ebay.us/m/mS45qj

another still under $300k+
https://ebay.us/m/eB5sA6

and you can sell, trade or flip now without a contract 😂 🙌
