All this talk about fuel tank size got me to wondering and searching. I found an auxiliary tank that could possibly be installed to top off the stock tanks. Spare Tire Well Tank


But then drat....the GTD has NO spare tire well.

Interesting color…

That is definitely the worst color I've seen. I do understand why he did it since he has a Ford GT in the same color, but man that is a tough color. Can't do that, of course I can't do one in black either lol.

I had told @Tomster about that also....LOL

I'm pretty sure Smokey had the extra fuel in the roll bar. After the tech inspectors
removed the fuel cell, Smokey got in the car and drove it away. He claimed later
that he could have driven to Jacksonville.

While it is marketed as a fuel tank, I see no reason you couldn't fill it with your favorite beverage and then fill the other half of the spare tire well with ice.
