Or, you could call Sounds Good Stereo and ask them to give you the part number or buy a pair from them….kinda like I mentioned above5600s dont fit. The spades are at the wrong angle. Guess I'll be returning more stuff to Amazon. I think im just gonna make a harness
I realize this, but i got these speakers open box for dirt cheap and the sounds good adapter setup costs 3 times what I paid for the speakersOr, you could call Sounds Good Stereo and ask them to give you the part number or buy a pair from them….kinda like I mentioned above![]()
Then don’t buy the adapter and ask them for the pigtail…this isn’t rocket science.I realize this, but i got these speakers open box for dirt cheap and the sounds good adapter setup costs 3 times what I paid for the speakers
A solution was posted above, you just didn’t like the solution. Sounds like a you issue not a forum issueI rolled the dice and ordered the 5600s. What kills me about this forum is nobody posts solutions to problems that existed since 2015 when these cars came out. Ill at least update if the 5600 plugs work
When you remove the factory speakers just cut the connector off of it and use that. Cut as close to the speaker as possible to leave enough wire length to attach to the new speaker. Before you cut anything check the polarity of the factory speaker, they are not marked +/- .As the title says. I dont want to splice anything. I think its the metro 5600 adapter for the 3.5 mids. Doing this tommorow. Sent the adapters back. When you remove the factory speakers just cut the connector off of it and use that. Audio threads always turn into some childish name calling bs and I don't understand why. People seem to think if they spent $2000 upgrading their system then that is what you need to spend on yours. I guess they don't really believe you when you said you just wanted to make it sound better than factory, or they don't want to know someone spent way less then they did and quite like how it now sounds.Im clearly not an audiophile.
