Did you install it?
Yes I did. Sounds actually a tad quieter driving around but definitely more refined and "lumpier".

It's also possibly it may come across quieter because of the new valence, or whatever the technical term is for the under body tray thing

Is the rear valance swap required to fit the Mach 1 mufflers into the GT?
I believe the Mach 1 tips drop a little lower than the stock GT tips, so using the stock GT valance with the Mach 1 mufflers may look slightly strange with the tips lower from where they should be.

Yes, the drop is significantly different :

I noticed with the Mach 1 valance you no longer see the bolts for the differential where you would see them looking at the car from the back with the stock GT valance

Mustang Brothers,
Have a question - hopefully not a futile or dumb one.....
Can the mufflers (and tips) be adjusted to level and also fix the valance to tips gap?

I installed this Upgrade Kit (minus the valance which I'm having painted) and a Steeda H Pipe over the weekend.
Did watch the Steeda vid several times.

As noted, the exhuast tips sit lower than the stock.
So, there is a significant and odd looking gap between the tips and the stock valance.
And the tips are not level or centered well.
However, looking at pics of the Mach valance, I don't see that it would make a huge difference in the gap since it appears to be about the same size as the stock.
Steeda vid does make a comment about adjusting the leveling and alignment, but does not provide anything else.
I did work on the positioning of the mufflers and tips by adjusting the pipe connections, but the mufflers are hard point mounts / hangers - so little adjustment can be done.

Any advise / ideas?

Thanks

I literally just did the Active Exhaust Upgrade Kit on our ‘22 GT, and my experience is identical to yours @Mustang Maverick I feel like the tips are too far down and not well centered in the new valence. They provided new hangers for the intermediate part of the exhaust but I really feel like they should have provided different hangers for the mufflers themselves. Were you able to get yours squared away?

I cant help on your other points, but the levelness (if that's a word) is likely a by-product of fitting your H pipe, but is also adjustable (because of your H pipe).

Slacken the rear H pipe clamps, rotate the rear sections, tighten up the clamps - make sure you have good quality clamps and based on a few I have seen on here, make sure the clamp is central over the joint (mark the pipes before fitting the clamp so you can see its central).

If your H pipe has been welded, you need to have a word with the fitter / welder ... :like:

I got them pretty close.
But i spend some time on my back in the drive way with the Stang on the Race Ramps.
I loosened all the clamps and adjusted and retightened them.
But with the multiple pivot points it was a challenge.
I used 2 of my jacks to jack each muffler to the position I wanted, but they sagged a tiny bit when I let the jacks down - but not too much.
But there was still a bit of a gap - but it looks okay.

Thanks brother - we are of like minds and I actually did all the things you pointed out when I did the adjustments - all good advise.

I did do a lot of trial and error adjusting the pipe sections with all the additional pivot points.
I used the Ford Clamps (all clamps - no welds) which are really good and even replaced the ones from the cats to the hpipe - they were pretty rusty already.
And I did mark the pipes so the clamps would be centered to the joints.
