Let me first start off by saying I didn't buy this car to listen to the radio... And I'm definitely not an audio phile or anyone who wants subwoofers.
That being said, my 2018 with the bigger sync setup (401a package?), the speakers have next to no bass.
I'm hoping someone could recommend some...
Greetings! I've noticed that the little panel with the gt emblem on my car has gotten swirls like crazy, and cracks where the badge goes through. I'm interested in keeping somewhat stock appearing, but want something that is going to be a bit more durable.
I've seen a matte plastic one, I've...
2018 mustang GT active exhaust mufflers with servos/actuators. Also includes rear lower spoiler or valence or whatever.
Looking for 300$ or obo.

My project for tomorrow. I am not mega concerned about the way this looks vs the old, my stock active exhaust looks fine imo. I like that this kit is supposed to be similar note to the active exhaust, just maybe a tad louder and a tad deeper. Tips seem considerably bigger tho. I can put my fist...
Hmm there is lots to like about that kit, I like that it might be slightly louder and that it has been tips, but a lot of cash for that.
I'll have to think a out it. I assume finding a mach1 takeoff wouldn't be impossible, but buying appropriate valences and diffuser might end up making it the...
I've been very happy with the exhaust note of the active exhaust stock, and have jumped through many midpipes trying to make things a tad louder but not obnoxious and not changing the exhaust note a huge amount.
I'm curious if nayone has installed this kit M-5200-ACT1. Is it just a mach1...
Looking to see if I can find one of these used, or perhaps a deal on new one. I have tried h pipes and x pipes and stuff, and been unhappy with everything I've tried. I really like active exhaust note, and just would like it a bit deeper and a little louder.
Thanks
are you still digging the switchfire? I've had 3 midpipes on my car (ultimately back to stock), I love the active exhaust note... to me I feel like it sounds better than almost all the aftermarket exhausts... I just wish it was a little bit deeper, little bit louder. It's also critical that I...
Earlier today I noticed with clutch pushed in my 2018 wouldn't rev past 3k rpms or something.
I noticed the lc icon on the dash and going into track mode then track apps and launch control it's enabled.
Being this is the second time this has happened, I'm wondering if there is some short cut...
Have had the car back a while and things seem .... Better.... I don't know if it's something has just BEEN a problem or what but seems generally happier and has a slightly different exhaust note
I know the car itself doesnt support it, but is there anyway to do it with forscan or something? Ultimately I'd like to default to sport+, and exhaust in track mode. If I have to flip little toggle switches and set exhaust mode in settings, i guess it is what it is... but it'd be nice to be able...
Ford dealer has finally said they think it's cam phasers and "timing components"... And they are going to replace components under power train warranty.
I'm not sure it'll fix things... But at least it's not "we couldn't reproduce it " like the last visits.
One more thing... This all came on suddenly. 0 problems over the time always be owned it (I bought it new). One day I'm getting all these random codes.
Check engine light pops up. Tonight I was driving it and made a mental note that it was running great. Stop to pick up a sandwich and started back up with an immediate check engine light. And seemed to bog a little but could totally be in my head.
I have seen codes for misfires on #2, #4, #5...
well more updates, had codes come back, took to dealer they reflashed, recalibrated knock sensors or somethign... said if they cant see the codes happening, they cant do anything about it.
Went a couple days, and p0300 is back. SO I guess I get to play the while(broke){takeToDealer();} dance
I don't suppose you could explain what was required to do this... I noticed today mine was doing the same thing... its like the ebrake just doesn't push all the way down, lke maybe the boot is in the way.
I had my car into the dealer for misfire codes, and got it back today. Just driving it I noticed a little LC by my odometer. I've never used launch control nor set it up at all, and am wondering if this basically means that while my car was at the dealer... they were launching it.
