So I brought the AVID inside to be closer to the WIFI and this solved the issue. It seems to be very sensitive to WIFI quality even with a hot spot.

After installing the ESS, I posted some tips and clarifications that were not included in the installation manual, and also sent them to ESS for their information. They actually updated the online version of the manual to 1.6 and included the suggestions, nice to see that they are receptive to ideas from their customers.

Just did the WOT datalog for Wengerd and they came back saying the logs looked great. No revisions from the initial tune. Car feels and sounds crazy. I feel like the supercharger is crazy loud since I have the trackspec vents right above it and no sound deadening.

Thank you all for your help here.

Mine was dialed in first tune as well. Simple ESS setup on the car that Wengerd just has dialed in for most cars the first time.

As my first post on this forum, I want to say a huge thank you to all the contributors in this lengthy thread! I'm on page 381, but wanted to jump ahead. Will keep reading till caught up.

I recently purchased a 2022 Mach 1 10r80 car and was researching this kit before even owning an S550. Is the below still a good way to go?

G3 Kit
120 MM pulley
Standard impeller
Tial BOV
GT500 injectors
Vortech BAP
Synchro gears
G3 Intercooler

I do not have E85 available and basically looking to leave the car stock other than the ESS kit and a few Steeda chassis parts. Plan on having Wengerd tune it with an RTD3.

Anything missing other than spark plugs and thicker weight motor oil? For the plugs, did the 6510's or the Ford Racing plugs end up being best? Oh, and thinking of going with open breathers on the valve covers and seeing if the smell bothers me. If it does, then I'll look into something else. Currently have the Ford Racing passenger side PCV setup installed.

As for the use of the car, just weekend joy riding in the mountains and will probably find a dragstrip to make a few passes for fun.

Thanks again to all of you!

No not yet, I have one around from my old talon. I might throw it on. But I'm running the 120mm pulley so probably 8-9 lbs
10-4. I’m also on 120mm pulley. I was just curious at what RPM should you be a max boost

I would imagine somewhere around 7k ish is max boost. But honestly, it comes on way faster than I thought. 3k you can already feel it starting to pull. Way more than when it was n/a at that point. And the noises are chefs kiss.

Yes that's still a good setup, and I recommend the breathers, just be sure to take out the spring and triangle shape piece in the passenger side PCV valve. Not sure if yours twist in though, both sides on a 15 twist in.
Wengerd has the best tune for the A10 so you're in great shape there!
i believe most run the NGK plugs but those whom run the ford racing don't have problems reported either. Just if you use boostane regularly you will indeed burn up plugs sooner but nothing terribly crazy. Like every 30k i think i saw a few pages back.
with the setup you're looking at the mountains will be perfect with that supercharger. However, I'll give you a fair warning if you go to the drag strip your wallet most likely will start getting mad at you and you'll want the G3X impeller. Buy once cry once in that department!

Boost should keep building until you shift on a centri.

For reference, I’m currently on the 110mm and seeing a peak of 13.6psi. More than I expected but I’m not complaining.

Trying to do my install this weekend and when unpacking I cannot find the pulley bolt, the keyway and the vacuum T parts. Has anyone else encountered this?

I believe they were in the bottom of one of the foam filled packages. I believe the package with the bracket is where mine were.
