Curious if you’ve also looked into the Dark Horse R at all?Your "wild ass guess" is incorrect, I have over 30 years in a Specracer Ford (an SCCA class), over 150 racing weekend events, including sprint races, 4 / 6 / 13 and even 3 24 hours enduros. The car will run for ~60 minutes.
I agree that the car is too heavy, but this is what it is, take it or leave it. Im buying one, and will enjoy it for what it is.
To me the GTD is a street car. If I wanted a mustang track car, I would be buying a GT3 / 4, 302R, or another flavor of of a dedicated race car. Lighter, potentially faster, and better on consumables. I have several other FAST street cars, and have tracked them, sure fun, but not the same as a real racecar.
