I don't have much advice. Splitters which just bolt in where the stock belly pan goes are not going to help (much at all) with downforce.

For performance, a flat splitter should have the front leading edge lower than the back edge by 1-3 or so degrees, and none of the aftermarket ones I've seen get that right. Splitters loose almost all of their benefits if they're too high from the ground too. Anything bolted to the bottom of the front lip (i.e. where the stock pan goes) is too high unless the car is slammed on the ground.

All that stacks up to aftermarket splitters being ineffective. The stock parts at least route air effectively and duct air to the wheel wells and brakes effectively. The Mach 1 belly pans goes really far back past the wheels. Some of the stock parts also move air away from the wheel tread which also removes drag.

It seems like you're assuming the balance will be off if you don't do some kind of splitter, but I'm not so sure. The swing wing with the gurney isn't so high-downforce that it will throw off the balance too far IMHO.
This is true. I have an APR CF splitter and to set it up correctly I bought some spacers to get that -1*. I also hard mounted it to the crash beams deleting the need for rods and grafted the brake ducts on.

If you go this route I would not use in conjunction with the OEM belly pan. I would either remove the BP or graft the ducts on if you want to retain that function.

Good luck OP and let me know if you have any questions :like:

MMD or ford performance
I have MMD I can sell cheap
I choose the ford performance because I liked the double splitter
I installed the ford performance track package and it is very low in front have to be careful with curbs and dips in roads

I've been happy with the APR splitter. Nightmare Moon makes a good point, lower is better, but what are you doing with the car? If you aren't tracking it on roadcourses, I'd skip it completely. If you also daily drive, don't go too low, you'll be re-attaching it once a month.
I’ve lowered a small amount and won’t be lowering any further, likely, to Nightmare’s point, a splitter won’t be low enough to make a functional difference. I’m sure eventually I’ll track the car but that’s not the main purpose, it certainly isn’t a daily driver.

I have the MMD but it's purely for cosmetics. Cell phone camera makes it look bigger than it is because it's the closest part of the car to the camera.

I’m looking at adding a splitter to balance the FP spoiler w gurney flap I’ve added to my car. Anyone with an aftermarket splitter have advice? Which one do you have, how do you like it, how’s part quality, how’s the company to work with, etc?

I’m considering the liquivinyl one…
I was using an SBS splitter when I first bought my car. It’s roughly in the shape of the GT-350 splitter. I now have a Carter’s Custom splitter similar to the performance pack 2. Along with the side splitters he makes. It really makes the car stand out and Carter’s Customs is a great company to work with. I still have the SBS, it fits a Performance Pack 15-17 with the cutouts for the brake cooling ducts.

As requested. My current setup has the Carter’s Custom front and side splitters. He sells a diffuser for the back but I already have one that I like. The SBS is hanging in my garage.

Is Carter's back up and running? Their shop burnt down last year if I remember correctly.
Their website is up and doesn’t say anything about shipping delays

OP, another option you have, if you want to avoid splitters, you could also do hood vents/fender vents. That would give you the front end clearance, as well as reduce the parachute effect of the hood, and the air pressure above the wheels at speed.

I say all this knowing full well I have done neither of these modifications, but they are on the list. Plus it helps with cooling.

I have a GT500 replica hood. Unfortunately I’ll be replacing it with one that… works better for my needs.

What does that mean?
I don’t like the paint job, and it has divots for hood pins to replicate the GT500. The hood company provided plastic pucks that look like hood pins to fill the divots and I think that’s insane. I have real hood pins but they don’t line up on the GT, so they do nothing. I hate that.

I don't blame you, that would drive me insane too.
