But if you have multiple vehicles tuned at the same time, you will need a tuner for each vehicle. That's fine if you only have 1 car tuned. But for 2 or more an HP device is cheaper in the long run.
True, and I had the X4 and no car to go with it (I reset the SHO to stock before trading it) so it made sense to use it.

I have an X4 also, but back in 18 when I went to get my CEL turned off after the header install, the HP software was the only one that could access the ford racing tune I had on my car so I had to buy an HP device. Fast forward to 21 and the tuner I chose to tune my explorer ST only works with HP software so that's what I used. My X4 has been collecting dust for 6 years.

So those are the only changes to the A10 via this tune….higher rev limit and firmer?

Im curious whether changes were different depending on the driving mode? I’m relatively happy with the stock shifting and was suprised how well sport + mode worked on the track. My primary desire would be for slightly quicker shifts in Sport mode for the street without being harsh.

Its not that simple, they can always find out if its been flashed, there is no current way to obfuscate the number of times the PCM has been flashed. Ford has specific procedures for their dealer techs to find out if its been altered.

Small stuff you're not gonna have issues with, but if the motor is blown they're going to check because they really don't like paying for that.

But something people seem to ignore is also that ford flashes your car without asking, going in with a tune loaded is a risky situation as they frequently overwrite them.
As far as I know the only parameter that rats you out is the key cycle counter.

No - other improvements to HP, etc. are also included - this was specific to shift points.

Is it worth tuning a Manual Tremec?
I only have experience with Stage 2 Tune on my 4-Series BMW Auto. From what I read, is it not a big deal on a manual?

I think so. I did a Wengerd tune on my Mach 1 with Tremec, everything else stock besides the Borla Switchfire. It definitely woke it up a bit. Nothing too crazy, but I can tell the throttle response is better, the rev limiter is a bit higher too. Feels almost as good as my 22 GT did with Wengerd tune and Long Tubes...

I only take mine out on weekends usually. But it is definitely a fun car, and I enjoy driving it immensely. I just try to keep the miles down some (I drive over 30K miles a year for work :) ) so my daily gets the brunt of my driving... I did splurge today and drive the Mach 1 to work for Christmas Eve :) I did the same (Borla Switch Fire res delete) and it is perfect...

You have to have a device to interface with the car. I went with the RTD.. Just get one that Wengerd supports. He supports a few, I dont know if SCT is one of them.
