2023 Mach 1 batteries

Do 2023 Mach 1s have gel type batteries and can you use a basic Battery Tender trickle charger when storing them for the winter?

All the newer car batteries are AGM

The basic battery part number for most late model mustangs is BAGM-48-760 it's about $200.

Over last winter i parked my 2022 gt in my garage, no charger, started up just fine 3 months latter.

Motorcraft AGM96R for a oem AGM battery is more up to date part number than the BAGM-48-760 that I previously referred to...

As @Jerryinpa said you could upgrade to an AGM in the future. However, to answer your question, your car was supplied with a flooded cell battery. You can future proof by purchasing a battery charger/maintainer that is capable of charging both flooded cell and AGM style batteries. There is a difference in charging strategies between the 2 types. I have had very good luck with both CTEK and NOCO chargers. Personally, I would get a minimum of 5A charger/maintainer.
