Well folks my car is down with god awful grinding noise. I removed the supercharger belt, still grinding. I removed the A/C Compressor belt, still grinding.

I got new Oil Pump Gears installed 1000 miles ago. This grinding noise is dead center too right where they are.

Oil Pressure cold start normally is over 90psi, it was 34psi last time I started it. I don't want to keep doing it either.

I'm pretty pissed as I don't drive this car but to shows and occasional date night. I don't race the car at all.

Check out the attached video and let me know what you all think. I have informed one Company and want to contact the other but trying to be sure first.

34 psi! I wouldn't fire it again. When mine had low oil pressure it still hit 55 at cold start. Sounds like you have a much bigger issue than I did. Good luck!

Sounds like the timing chains are slapping around you have a oiling problem.

I agree.

Something is afoot behind that timing cover.

34psi cold is not good, pull the timing cover off and see what's up.

It’s going back to the shop that did the Oil Pump Gears 1000 miles ago. I’m not touching it. Just waiting for them to get me a date so I can get a flatbed.

I feel for ya brother. I was gonna supercharge my Mustang, but I'm so afraid of a failure like what you are experiencing. I hope it's not as bad as what I fear. Much luck.

Just do full bolt on’s. I’m pulling the blower off and selling it. Blower has 1400 miles on it and quite expensive. I don’t drive the car much because of E85 only and having to monitor everything so closely. Plus I don’t race at all.

Should have left the opg alone, especially since your car is just a show car.

So I’m curious….. why install such an expensive mod as a Supercharger on a Mustang that already has over 400+HP on tap IF the car isn’t ever raced and it is only a “show car” that sees minimal use (and doesn’t seem to be one that is at WOT very often if at all)…? I’m not bashing or trying to be offensive, I’m really just curious as to the “why”?

Was the plan that the car would see some track time here and there and it just never panned out?

Hello; I wonder the same sort of thing about tricked out Jeeps and other 4x4's. Specifically those which are never taken off road.

Seen plenty of "show cars" that have a blower and every other mod...but run like complete crap when they floor it leaving the show

not tuned, not installed right, mismatched parts...

I was considering LTHs, maybe a better air intake, an 2018 Intake manifold, and a tune.
