Hey, I hope everyone is having a good day! I just wanted to show you guys my new wall of detailing equipment that I finally finished.
I spent a ton of time researching which brands I wanted to go with and spent even more time installing all of this. But in the end it was well worth it. I ended up going with most of the stuff Obsessed Garage recommends but I decided to go with my own version on the plumbing and the spotless DI water tank setup.
I work full time and do paint correction and ceramic coating work on the weekends. Detailing is my passion and this new setup makes everything so much easier and more enjoyable and saves so much time when it comes to setting everything up for a detail and then putting it all away.
Here is the list of what I bought.
Pressure washer - Ar Blue 630TTS
Pressure washer shelf - Poka Premium
Pressure washer hose - Kobrajet
Pressure washer hose reel - Cox reel
Pressure washer sprayer, wand and nozzle - Obsessed Garage
Pressure washer wand holder - I made this out of Pvc pipe and painted it black.
Spotless water tank - Griot's Garage. I painted this blue to match the theme of black and blue. Also built the stand it's sitting on and then painted the strap that secures it black.
As you can see in the picture there are 3 hand valves, that is so I can switch between regular water and DI spotless water. I added an inline filter so that when I switch to DI water there is no chance of the resin from the DI tank making its way to the pressure washer and clogging it.
All of the plumbing valves, hoses and fittings were done in stainless steel. Used a elbow on the inlet of the pressure washer so the lines would look nicer. Also added anti vibration mounts on the feet of the pressure washer.
The two switches to the side of the pressure washer are to turn on the power to the pressure washer and the other one is to turn on the water so that I don't have to turn a knob like a normal water spigot.
The extension cord is self retractable and is made by Griot's Garage.
The Vacuum is made by Cana-Vac.
I also have access to my air hose which is on a dewalt hose reel.
This has made setting everything up to wash a car so much faster. I simply connect the wand to the hose via quick disconnects and hit two buttons and I'm on my way to washing the car.
If anyone has any questions let me know!
