Tons of great detail/product knowledge in here I was hoping to tap into.

I'm looking to V2 my pressure washer setup. I started with a Karcher Cube with allllllll of the OG goodies(OG Wand, Foam Cannon, Cox reel, Kobra hose, etc). I love everything about the setup but the Karcher was always meant to be a temporary solution. After playing with nozzles I'm actually ok with the pressure and volume. What I would really like to find pressure washer with maybe a little more oomph but mostly a lot less sound.

Any recommendations for a quieter wall mount than the Karcher? I think OG used to have a spread sheet with decibel readings included but the link I have doesn't work.
I would love to upgrade to a Kranzle, but $1100 better come with a pretty quiet pump.

Cam: I am not sure why the sound level is important to you but I can tell you that the Kranzles are no louder than a Karcher or other brands. I've had my share and while a stationary setup on the wall would be most excellent, it too has its drawbacks. If you really get serious, plumb in a CR Spotless DI rig with ball valves to put it in or take it out of the equation. I like the portability of the 1122TST.

Kranzle is in a different league, once you purchase one it will all make sense why Kranzle is referenced in this forum, and other resources with high accolades. I’ve owned the majority of brands - the Kranzle pump sound is really drowned out by the water blasting off whatever it’s pointed at. You could always close your garage door while washing with a stationary mount set-up….

I can echo the sentiments with regards to the Kranzle. You will not be left wanting by choosing the Kranzle, it's the pinnacle of pressure washers for a reason.

The sound is different to the lower end pressure washers, much smoother sounding without the high pitched wheezing endemic to most, if not all cheap pressure washers. There is also none of that surging or pulsing wither. As mentioned, you will find the sounds coming from the nozzle will be louder than the Kranzle itself.

The other option would be the AR Blue Clean AR630 -

Google a few videos on these machines to see what I mean in regards to the sound.

Thanks for the replies. Sound is important as I typically clean the cars inside the garage. It's pretty nice to be able to wash cars at night with all the doors closed. However, the Karcher just grinds away and the high pitched sound has me questioning if this a day time only tool. I know, it's a nice problem to have - I really just need to hear a Kranzle in person before taking the plunge on it.
The Active unit is a nice alternative, but why settle when the price is already so close.

So jealous of this garage and how clean it is. Wish I didn't have to deal with crappy gravel back alleys and poorly poured slabs.

@PC_GUARD perfect comparison vid. Thank you so much. You can tell he's trying to talk OVER the Karcher, but the Kranzle barely picks up on the mic.

Nice set-up, if you have Kranzle on the brain - get one on order, not sure the current status on availability but for awhile there was a lengthy back-order turn time (1122/1322)

*I use the Active all the time with the Obsessed Garage/Wand & beefed up hoses waiting for it to fail… this unit is like a Toyota 22r just keeps plugging away. Fact- The Active (loud/obnoxious) puts out about the same juice as a Kranzle for 200 bucks. I’m not getting rid of the Kranzle set-up but I’m impressed.

The active certainly has good specs, but I think it would be too similar to the Karcher you have now in terms of sound. The high pitched scream in the ramp up and down is what annoys me most on these lower spec machines, and the random priming.

Skip to 40min mark to see what I mean -

(5) The New King Of Entry Level Pressure Washers: Testing The Active VE52 (1.94 GPM) - YouTube

Once you get up to the AR and Kranzle level, you get a smoother, stouter sound to the motor and pump without the screeching on ramp up/down.

AR 630 from about 19min -

Kranzle from about 20min and 30min with the OG gear. This vid really demonstrates how much louder the movement of water is compared to the motor/pump itself -
