Daily drivers: highest mileage gt350

I've got a 2016 Tech Pack GT350. I'm just about at 79,000 miles. Not quite a daily driver but lots of road trips and a few track days (added a trans oil cooler early in 2024 which helped the track efforts tremendously). The car is currently getting a new clutch; i'm staying with OEM parts.

The cats might be a bit clogged due to some oil burning. I'm thinking about getting high-flow cats but i don't want to do a whole header system.

A friend has a 2016 tech pack with over 100k miles. Fully stock, daily driven plus road trips, no track days, no oil consumption issues that I'm aware of.

If one measures intragalactic movement of the earth, perhaps your car has "traveled" even further than that. Need an astronomy nut to calculate that one as no astral odometer came with the car.

Currently @ 103,000 miles with my 16' 350 base in Competition Orange. Almost positive only a select few have hit this milestone with the original engines, but mine is original to car and gets treated like a normal car. Track-days, cold weather use, occasional DD use through the town for groceries, etc.

An for the P-NUT gallery... 1/2 a quart every 500 miles IF that - AMSOIL Signature Series. Only chews through it on those real cold starts or heavy load above 6000RPM.

Funny story about that actually... When I went to go purchase the car, I assumed that it was race red based on the description and pictures from the dealer. I get there, and sure enough.... Orange.

I did tell the salesman that I was after the cheapest one around town, regardless of color. Got to eat my words on that one but have zero "Ragrets".

Comp Orange has a lot of red in it. It very much looks red in certain lighting and at certain angles.

Eclipsed 83,600 this week, all is well. Fresh tires, oil change, drive belt and wash/detail in the last couple of weeks. Not my daily, but drive it often.

My Ford touch-up pen has been put to use on the front bumper over the last few years, but it’s nearing time to get my spare cover sprayed and fresh vinyl applied.
