Yes, makes it easier. You can buy the device and tune at the same time. You get the device, save your stock tune, sync it to them within the app, and they send you back down the tune you order. You load it and enjoy. You also datalog it to make sure its safe which is also an easy process using the RTD and TDN app.

Almost everyone in my area uses BAMA as well. They have no complaints.

Wengerd uses both RTD & SCT. There are quiet a few SCT devices for sale at good prices with out the need to buy credits. I'm tuned by Wengerd with my SCT. It's not as easy to use as other devices but I already had it. Wengerd, OZ, Ortiz, Rob Shoemaker, & Lund are all better options. Bama is mostly for the kids that just got into the scene & don't do the research. You could always just email different tuners & ask your questions to see which one meets your needs best.

Then just leave it alone. Bama tunes will make your car run worse not better. I had nothing but a nightmare with mine. Years of data logging and rewrites never got the bugs ironed out. Lesson learned.

Stay away from Bama. @Wengerd Performance is the company I would use If I didn't tune my own car.
