What is a FI? Is it the closed box?

I am buying a new Cold Air Intake. Is there a consensus for which are the top brands to get? I have a JLT right now. Whoever owned the car prior to me, messed it up bad. The neck for a vac line is snapped, it has vac leaks all over it, including at the MAF.

What makes it worse than anyone else? What other handheld tuners does everyone use? There's so many to choose from.

I say Bama because that's what I've always seen around my local scene. I'm not sure what other tuners are available. I know SCT has affordable options too.

If I bought one of the Bama tuners with a custom tune, or something similar. Does the car have to have a stock tune in order to use it? American Muscle is the one telling me this, just wanted to clarify. Bought the car without a tuner, so I don't know exactly what tune is on it.

Everytime I've done plugs, always a dab. It's just an old way in me. Having a plug seize is no good. Better safe than sorry.

What's happening im getting some idle surge. It's random. I have the popping that's in the CAI that I'm hearing as well. There's no CEL. Power is ok. I had vacuum lines done a couple weeks ago. And it ran like a dream. The exhaust tone changed a little. Wasn't as raspy. Sounded fine...

Is there a way to test the throttle body on these cars?

I’m NA. Car does have 75k miles. Zero clue of what maintenance has been done.

The video I'm posting has a pop that's coming from the CAI. Nothing I can see is wrong with the CAI, I've taken it apart, and looked at the throttle body. It's clean. Am I missing something? The idle is rough at times. And still, when you go to a store. Shut it off. Grab something like at...
