Received my Steeda intake yesterday, I'll be installing it Friday.

We actually have a bit of sun today, but my Mustang with Blizzaks has been a trooper. I haven't had any issues with the low temps we've been having and a harsh winter. First one in a few years but the heated seats make it bearable.

It's weird driving down the freeway through snow and seeing all-wheel drive cars slide off, but some people don't invest $800 in tires on their $8000+ purchase.
I can't stress it enough. AWD/4WD without a dedicated snow tire is just asking for trouble.

I'm happy to hear that you're having great luck with the Blizzaks as well! I had my '08 out with at least 2-3" on the ground and I just couldn't get the car stuck. I swear they're the best snow tires out there.

Let us know what you think of the intake too and drive safe.

I bought today the bama tune for steeda cai w/o restrictor , they have it finally
yismoh - That's awesome! Let the guys at Bama know if there's anything they can get you help with on the tuning side of things.

Enjoy

I forgot to respond to this thread. I installed my Steeda CAI on New Years day, loaded the tune and it fired up with no issues. I let it idle for a while to my IAT's were pretty high, 40-50 F above ambient. But now after a week of daily driving IAT's typically hover around 4-8 above ambient unless I'm stuck in traffic.

I was a little worried about the tune actually, I noticed at WOT my AFR would get to 11.6-11.5:1 and it was making me nervous running that rich. But after doing some research it looks like "optimal" is a little under 12.0:1 so I'm not as stressed. I do plan on headers or GT350 intake soon, when that happens I'll take my car to a local shop here and have them install and get a custom tune.
