A little late to the party, but congrats on the allocation!

Yes. Would be interested in how much you can build the car up and the different options/packages offered. Just know of the CF package. No idea. I sent the papers in on Friday. I hope to hear soon.
Very true and kind words. The only people who can clean this mess up are the offenders (by deleting their posts) or the moderators to do a cleanup on aisle 5.So many other folks on our site have documented builds or events and they/participants did not succumb to personality differences, but rather were able to stay true to sharing events and details of the journey. Others have been welcome to share in those threads to learn and/or give productive helps, as in this thread. Those threads have generated great entertainment, great knowledge, and great camaraderie. You can tell by the way this thread started, such was the intent of this one.
Frankly, it would be nice to have a new thread started without all the emotional, negative bias.
If we want to be brutally honest, there have been MANY non-6G posts on this forum. Should we report and ban every one who includes information about non-Fords, non-Mustangs, and even Non-6G Mustangs? Are we no better than the politicians we detest that cannot speak to each other as civilized people? In a country as the U.S., we elect people like us. Let's be better than this you all.
The trend of this thread of late reminds me of an employee who when getting under the influence of alcohol, raked competitors over the coals on social media. The employee seemed fine until she got alcohol in her, and then the real her came out. Termination was the only correct action, as hate is not what we are about.
Maybe alcohol was the prompt for damaging a thread with great promise. IF so, I encourage getting help, lest more than a journal thread, this site, or something/somebody more dear to you is destroyed.
Regardless, @Tomster started a wonderful journal, and I am looking forward to a journal going forward, whether or not it is a different, untainted one. I can be (and am) happy for @Tomster even though I would love to have one but don't have the wherewithal. Thanks to @Tomster for sharing so we can enjoy the journey, albeit from a keyboard and screen.

Well said. Unfortunately this always happens to the good threads, there’s always at least one person that comes in ready to nuke the thread. I have no doubt that once Tom starts getting updates from Ford, this one will get back on track and be full of positive comments. So many other folks on our site have documented builds or events and they/participants did not succumb to personality differences, but rather were able to stay true to sharing events and details of the journey. I hadn't looked but doesn't it come with a race type seat? The Shelby's do.Being that it is advertised as a track purpose car, one option I would like to see is a Titanium Roll Bar+Bucket Seat + 6pt harness option.
