Which Tuning device is good?

hello everyone, so I have a 2020 Mustang GT non pp. and I would like to get a Roush cold air intake. I like the closed see through box. But I know I need a tune to get its full potential. And well, I know NOTHING of tuning. Literally clueless, so I have credit on American muscle that I’ll save till Black Friday. And I know this is way early, but I would like to know what I want to get. Soo what tuning device should I get ? They have 2 kits for the Roush CAI. One comes with the Bama Rev-X Tuner and the other comes with Bama X4/SF4 Power Flash Tuner. Are either of those good? Or should I get another device??. I don’t plan on doing major tuning/modification to the car since I DD this. My main things I would like to get, is CAI and headers. I would like to get a tune so I can pass emissions when I get CATTED headers. But due to price on headers those will wait a while for now. But the CAI I really want to get for Black Friday though American Muscle so I could use that credit and save me money. ($200 worth of credit) please if yall could help me, I really want to learn.

Those are just SCT devices, the RevX is the newer of the two. Find a tuner other than Bama that supports SCT and they can send you a better tune for the device

The RTD device is easy to use and pairs with an app on your phone (android or iPhone) plus Wengerd has great customer service and their tunes are great.

Then a canned tune is for you. No need for custom, cause yer just paying more for essentially a canned tune .
Diablosport has a canned ROUSH CAI tune built in to there devices.

You don't need a tune for LTH, however no tune will get you pass emissions with LTH and aftermarket CATS ,,, unless you wanna spend BIG bucks on GESi cats.

I thought I’ve read somewhere where people pass emissions using the KOOKS Green catted headers and tune?.. I live in GA and I DD the car so I NEED to pass emissions.

Apparently you still won't pass emissions even with catted headers. Kooks doesn't guarantee that you'll pass. Even with the GREEN catted headers ($$$) people have even still had issues passing emissions. I live in MA and WISH this wasn't the case, it's literally the only thing preventing me from getting headers. Just not worth the headache imo

Yea that’s the reason why I haven’t either lol. I need to make sure I can pass. There’s no point in spending big money just to fail you know? I really would love to have them just to open up the car more . But passing emissions is a lot more important.

MA has a law where 15+ year old cars don't need to pass emissions. I only have 11 years to wait

Okay thank you, and another question just because I’m curious.. open box or closed intake :,). And wengerds or Lund. I’ve see everyone swear by Lund
