  1. Forward exhaust CLAMPS..???

For clamps 1 and 2, pretty confident you should stick w the OEM ones. I ran into this when I installed my catback. The previous owner had done an H-pipe and welded it in on those clamps, so I had to sawzall em off. This was a surprise on install day so I bought some clamps from auto stores...
  2. Accurate Oil Dipstick pull

Ha I just posted a thread on this last week. The best answer I got was to look closely to see the difference between where the dipstick was dipped in oil vs oil streaks from being dragged along the dip tube. It’s a pain but yeah you can tell. Every time I pull mine out there’s oil streaks way...
  3. Trouble reading dipstick

I actually checked this morning and I think I can tell dipped vs dragged on dip tube. Looked like it was at the top of the cross hatch
  4. Trouble reading dipstick

Not to worry, I used the proper 5w30. Pennzoil ultra platinum thanks to the recommendations of the forum. The cross hatch was definitely wet, but was tough to get a proper reading on level (how high on the cross hatch). I’ll try again and hope I can get a better reading
  5. Trouble reading dipstick

To those with strut tower braces, do yall have trouble reading the dipstick? I have a PP1 so I have a strut tower brace which gets in the way of pulling the dipstick out straight upward. I have to pull it out at a weird angle and the dipstick makes contact with the sides of the dip tube the...
  6. Delete resonator...

It's completely legal. The only thing that would cause any trouble legally is when you mess with the cats. Anything downstream of the cats is fair play. When I bought my car, the previous owner had done a resonator delete and replaced it with an H-pipe (not sure of the brand). It sounded great...
  7. Sto N Sho front license plate holder

Yep This pic is with the plate OFF but the bracket is still ON - you can barely see it unless you're really looking for it, pretty stealthy
  8. Sto N Sho front license plate holder

I have this bracket, works great and don't have to screw into anything. Just adhesive and imo looks better in the factory position between the upper and lower grille vs the sto n sho sitting very low https://ccmustangbrackets.com/products/2015-2021-s550-mustang-bracket?variant=41064950989000
  9. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Installed Steeda Trident wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s over the weekend! Wheels are 19x10 square, 285/35/19 tires. Thanks to Steeda for the Labor Day sale. Love how these look, it looks so much better and more aggressive with the wheels coming all the way flush to the fender...
  10. Replaced battery, lost one of the gauge cluster screens

I did. The battery icon flashed 3 times so the procedure was done properly. Do I know if it really did anything? No. But I did it anyways
  11. What suspension to go with? I need serious help.

Bilstein B6 is a popular choice as well. That's what I plan on going with in the future when I upgrade suspension. Steeda offers the B6s in an assembled kit with choices of some of their springs. And to answer your other question, most on here will say you need camber plates. I can't speak from...
  12. Replaced battery, lost one of the gauge cluster screens

Ahh makes sense. I'll be away from the car for a few weeks but I bet this will work since everything gets reset after battery change. Thanks Luca
  13. Replaced battery, lost one of the gauge cluster screens

This thread is specific to those with the 401A digital gauge cluster. I replaced the my battery last weekend. After changing the battery, I lost one of the screens in the "Show Gauges" function. Specifically, the one where you can select which gauges to be shown and it shows the 3 chosen gauges...
  14. Which Tuning device is good?

That's probably the best strategy. Get things like intake, exhaust, whatever mods first so the car is ready to get the most out a tune and then tune that sucker up
  15. Which Tuning device is good?

Correct, you don't need a tune. See description here: https://www.roushperformance.com/collections/featured-cold-air-intake/products/2018-mustang-v8-cold-air-kit?_pos=1&_fid=48a98a47f&_ss=c
  16. Which Tuning device is good?

Closed. Open box is open to the heat of the entire engine bay, not very effective. I have the Roush closed box CAI (without a tune) and it's great. The intake temps are usually only a couple degrees over ambient, it's really impressive. Even when the car is fully up to operating temp, on a nice...
  17. Which Tuning device is good?

MA has a law where 15+ year old cars don't need to pass emissions. I only have 11 years to wait šŸ˜“
  18. Which Tuning device is good?

Apparently you still won't pass emissions even with catted headers. Kooks doesn't guarantee that you'll pass. Even with the GREEN catted headers ($$$) people have even still had issues passing emissions. I live in MA and WISH this wasn't the case, it's literally the only thing preventing me from...
  19. Which Side Marker is better?

+1 for Diode. Great quality and easy install
