Which Tuning device is good?

The HP Tuner RTD+, SCT X4 and the new AVID device have been great so far and all solid choices. Tuners like Lund Racing, Shoemaker Performance, Palm Beach Dyno, etc can get it dialed in nicely too.

The ROUSH intake doesn't require a tune as they use the stock MAF housing, anything that helps the engine breath better is always a win. If you need any help with other options, we work with all the devices and top tier tuners along with intakes so please, let us know.

Why do you guys want him to get 8 hundo worth of tune and a POS RTD for a basic CAI ?

Like seriously.

Most devices that you can actually SEE SHIT ON allows for all kinds of adjustments, and generally have good canned tunes for various CAI's.

IF he has a 200 credit get a live wire and go nuts.

But you guys lund this, Wengerd that ... for what he wants, he simply doesn't need those guys. A canned tune w/ a SCT will get the same results, FOR WHAT HE WANTS.

Now if he's going a cobra jet, TB, etc., etc., then pick yer poison.

@Everyone, i appreciate yall for trying to help the best yall can. I’m leaning towards Wengerd since yall seem to swear by them but if there’s something else that fits me then please let me know. I will trust yall, but for the device, I’ll be completely honest. I am stuck/confused. I do not know what route to exactly go… like I said I will not be doing major mods to the car. My important “wish list” is just intake and headers. So really I just want something thatll get the job done for an affordable price. I don’t want to go all out crazy if I won’t be giving its use to full potential, if that’s how it even works? lol. I don’t know if I’m making any sense? But ya as of now with the different options yall are giving me I don’t know how to decide because I know 0 info on them so I don’t know what fits me more?.. for the Roush intake, I’ll use the 200 credit I’ll just wait for Black Friday. Now for the device well whichever is good I’ll get from where it’s sold from. But again thank yall!. I hope yall don’t get annoyed with me ..

I read that the Bama Rev X is by SCT.. is that a good option? Or am I getting this wrong

Just don't buy any Bama tunes.

The Avid device is the newest latest and greatest thing. Or so I've been told. What is cool about it is it will show you different gauges and can use several software's to flash with.

If you get SCT you are limited to tuners who use SCT. RTD you need tuners who use HP tuners.

The Avid can use all so you pick a tuner and you are done.

A canned tune with act is not a good tune, or tuning device. so it does not meet his criteria
