Turnover seems to be more of a concern for quality,

Costco has the fastest turn over of any of them.

Before everyone says all gas comes from the same place...

It does. The drivers do not add costco's add pack, it is blended at the pump.

I logged every gas station around me and all give the same timing. Sometimes the car feels like a sick dog but then I check the air density....

There is no way Shell is worth $6 a gallon for the same 93 I can get at costco for less than $4. Now if Shell or Sunoco or whoever has 96 or 100, then yes it would be worth the extra dollars.

I've had no noticeable issues with Cotco gas in my X5 and Mach 1 . I'm in the burbs of Chicago.

Been using Costco 93 for years in my 2019 Corvette C7 Z06,
2024 Corvette C8 Z06, and 2019 Shelby GT350, with no problems and excellent performance.

DA is likely playing a bigger role than fuel assuming you’re not using crap fuel, especially on an N/A engine, IMO.

Mine is a ecoboost so 93 vs 87 is huge. It doesn't feel as responsive with Costco gas but in my area it's about 50 to 60 cents a gallon cheaper.
Shell also takes your Kroger rewards number so can save a little doing that.

I'll pass on the coke parties... some things need to remain in the past... There are a few large refineries around where I live, and I've worked in all of them. They combine their processes though different sellers to bring to market (Exxon/Mobil, Marathon, Texaco, Chevron, Shell, BP, etc.). I use Costco 93 octane and don't have any issues. I don't do log timing, but now and then I'll run a tank of Chevron 93 octane. It seems to clear out the injectors, but it may be my imagination.

Costco I get 25 ,26 degrees of timing.

Shell I get 24, 25. Sunoco 25, 26

All 93.

If you have a way to log, log timing, if the gas is better it will show up as more timing.

Does the ecu adjust timing based on fuel quality? Or is this something the Tune/tuner adds? (Is known as fuel logic)? If I said it correctly?
