I apologize, I feel like I’m hogging up this thread šŸ˜‚ so I got the RXT installed. I’m getting the same measurement. About .900ā€ difference. I called McLeod, they said no shim required. I told them I’m about .900 difference. He said that’s fine, the slave has 1.43ā€ or full travel. I hate to question McLeod, but does that seem right? This is with the longer slave
Interesting…. Their tech folks seem pretty good, but that goes against everything they told me when I went through my ordeal. LOL Which model number RXT did you buy?

Does the DSS shaft retain the use of the Guibo disc up front with the T56? Just wondering if that could account for the extra length that you mentioned? I have a Steeda DS which eliminates the Guibo.

I think you’re fine to reuse the factory hardware too if you wish. Just add a little blue loctite for good measure.

For sure too long. I have a Dynotech in mine which has been fine. Only reason I did not get a QA1 carbon fiber is they were back ordered for months at the time. QA1 is the best setup.

Greetings Gents,

First time poster long time lurker.

I really appreciate this thread and all the information here.

I spoke directly to Tremec yesterday morning and they confirmed a new, updated t56 Magnum XL which will retain full OEM functionality is ā€œ in testingā€ as we speak and will be released in the near future.

In the meantime, I am currently working with a reputable shop who are t56 swapping my 2022 GT.

My question is has anyone here actually had a successful t56 swap for 2019+ S550?

I understand I’ll lose rev match. But will my car actually be drivable?

Kinda stressing here…lol

TIA

Everything I’ve read on 2018+ cars, if equipped then magna-ride and auto rev matching are tied into the D4 MT82 and you will lose the ability to keep those functions. Personally, if I had a D4 MT82, I would have a calimer built one over a T56 Magnum. Hopefully someone will make a harness/adapter to keep those functions

Thanks for your response.

I do not have magne ride and I don’t mind losing rev match.

My Speed Shop is working to build my car. I’m just concerned the drivability will be negatively affected…
