Thanks chitown for the reply!!!! I have to 10 spd also, def not doing E85. I would be running 93 octane. Ive also had the Livernois tune on my old 2016 fusion and it was amazing on that 4 banger turbo. Wengerd is on our forum, correct?

Anthony
Yes, he’s on the forum or email him from his website.

I have long tube headers on mine and a GT 350 intake tube and I went with Wengerd for a 93 and E85 tune. The gen 3 engines really wake up with E85, the 12:1 compression takes advantage of the higher octane rating of E and makes a real difference. Like Skinnyb, he got my tune spot on first try. Sure I had to send him a few data logs to be sure but there were no tune revisions needed.

My car is a 23 mach with the 10 speed auto also

Thank you for your reply!!! Def will look into Wengerd.
Let me ask you, did you feel any diff with the GT350 intake tube?? What year tube did you put on? what years gt350 tubes didnt have that hideous obstruction?
Thanks Anthony

When you remove the carbon trap on a 22 or 23 mach 1 tube you basically have a GT 350 tube, but the mach and bullitt tube has that resonance chamber to quiet down the intake noise where as the GT 350 tube doesn't have the added chamber. I only changed it because the 350 tube looks better and I was hoping for a little more intake noise. No noticeable change in intake noise level so if that is all your after, don't waste your money on a GT 350 tube because when you find a good used one, they are not cheap. I don't know what year it came from, I found it on ebay. I do have the original tube and another complete air box and cone filter so if some one wants to make there own power pack 2 all they need is the 87 mm throttle body and a tune.

The GT350 tube is about 8mm larger inner diameter than the M1 tube. Unless you remove the inner sleeve. Then they would be about equal. I got tuned for the GT350 tube. Fuel trims were +20% before the tune. The engine output and 10 speed behavior is much better after the tune. I didnt use Wengerd because he wasnt doing PCMtec a few months ago. Im very happy with my flex tune. The car is very happy with E65. The 93 tune was good. But the ethanol is a whole other deal

I just converted over to @Wengerd Performance and I wish I had done so sooner. His A10 tuning is phenomenal for drivability, absolutely no lurching or surging. Performance wise, he's not only got me running the same 60-130s but with over 1500ft extra DA (so when the DA drops I'm expecting to set new PB, fingers crossed lol), but the *consistency* from run to run is better than what I had before. He's very patient, and will actually do custom requests in the tune if you ask him.

Is the tune detectable? Meaning if I need to take my M1 to the dealership for warranty work, but I reset the tune back to factory settings prior to taking it to the dealer, could they discover the tune and decline the repair(s) under warranty?

@shogun32 and I have Livernois flex but we have manuals, sounds like these other guys have had better luck elsewhere for autos

I would’ve been fine keeping my $600 Livernois flex tune if I had a stick, it ran strong! But I kept reading how much better the A10 could be tuned..I really struggled spending Another $900 to get better shifting but in the end I’d say it was worth it.
Took me 2 tunes to figure it out on my 15gt too. 😝

Hey guys,

I have a 2023 MACH 1 w 10spd and about 1200 miles on it and thinking about getting it tuned, add a little ooompphhhhh to it. I def don't want to supercharge the car as i lived that lifestyle for 3 years w my old 2021 Roush car. I'm happy w an N/A car and not burning cats lol Thank you.
Who is the flavor of the year via tuner w experience tuning MACH 1's???

Thanks, Anthony
Why not just send it and go free flowing exhaust? You live in cali or something?

I was closely following your posts recently going back and forth about Wengerd. That's how I ended up converting too haha.

Yes but it depends on what breaks

If your diff seals blow out you're not going to get a denial for the tune, but if you melt a piston you will end up paying for that motor out of pocket. Needs to be something directly related to the aftermarket engine calibration.

I was always under the belief that the dealer can see and chexk in pcm memory and it only comes up as like a battery disconnect.. the less times you go back and forth w tunes the better off u are. Less disconnects in pcm. Just don't bring car into dealer w tune on. Lol. And if you are gonna go in for service flash it back to stock and drive at least 30 miles. This has always worked for me and never had an issue. But times nay have changed and these cars get smarter and smarter and rat you out w there memory lol.
Thanks Anthony
