should be soon, just finalizing some things on the production kits

yes, that kit has a 900 hp core innercooler

we get 999 for a basic install on the 11-14's,

I probably sell 1-2 self installs a week, have for years, very detailed instruction guide
Hey Terry, for just a weekend toy with no aspirations of drag racing, which supercharger kit do you recommend?

for the coyote platform,

the vortech / Paxton has proved to be the best bang for the buck hands down, I don't see that changing as were working with the same engine

does the procharger fit in there anywhere bang for buck wise? Or are paxton and vortech running away with it? If so, what makes their offerings so special?

Didn't the guys at AM run both at the 1/4 mile and get better results with the stock intake? Maybe they didn't tune it as well but I'm almost positive I saw a video of them doing this somewhere on Mustang6G.

Coupes, cobras etc. had them all
I would keep the stock intake as reving the car higher is harder on parts and with a blower it is not as important as a naturally aspirated motor. The Paxton and vortech are better deals because the head units will support 1000 hp with out upgrades. The p1sc or what comes in the kit is pretty much maxed out at 600 hp and this car needs a pro charger f1r or similar in the base kit to compete.

Does that price include an intercooler as well?

Any insight into when the '15 kits are going to be fully released?

And what do you guys charge to install? Flat rate or hourly? Is it something a guy with regular tools and common sense could install?

we also offer procharger and roush kits as well.

procharger has some nice offerings as well. and we already have those available for the 15+

on the 11-14, the Paxton kit is about 1000 cheaper, has a larger innercooler and more power potential out of the base kit. I didn't care for the air intake placement either

imo the best offering on the 11-14. I do like some of the changes they made for the 15, on the standard kit, same drive system, which is nice, they moved air placement as well.

You're talking about the Paxton correct? That's with the monster Novi 2200?

Thanks.

You are talking about the paxton in the bolded items?

no, the procharger, the air filter used to sit about the headers, they have moved that, the Paxton was always in the factory location

What were you saying was the best in your opinion then? The post was pretty confusing.

If you look at their offerings for the previous cars, there is an option for the boss manifold. I believe it's just a matter of being a different charge pipe with no additional modifications.

Edit, sorry I was referring to the Superchargers.

Think he is saying paxton are the best - at least at that price point. best price, can be upgraded to most power, best intercooler.

Procharger is nice - in previous years he was not crazy about intake placement, but seems to be better for 2015

This is for Jake and Ken

So what's the deal with a Cobra Jet manifold and do you guys know what's involved in installing one?

Joe

Installation is similar to the Boss but you also need a GT500 throttle body and specific CAI to make it work.
