Hi all,
I’m ready to start over with my build in hopes of fixing something’s (trying to find reasons for my knock) and cleaning up the bay. I DO have plans for this car with the end goals to be south of 1000w. I do plan on purchasing an Aluminator or having my current engine forged to be able to handle the foreseeable power but let’s talk superchargers. I’m pretty set on keeping it a centri car but while I revamp the car I’ve been talking to my tuner and we both agreed that a larger head unit would be best to meet my goals.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I won’t be living at 1000w so I know the P1X would be adequate, and for quite a while I may add, especially to have a solid 850-900w for an everyday setup. But I do want a nice ripper when I add on a tire, pulley down, and hit the 1320.
Now, for those who did the P1X to D1X how has your experience been? Do you regret spending the $2k to upgrade? Does it make more power at the same pulley size vs the P1X? Less temps? Have you pushed it more - over 1000whp? I looked into the F1A94 and that's just too much blower for my build.
This isn’t my only car, but I would still like to have A/C and have the ability to cruise it on the weekends while being able to smash gears at the track.

Also, for shits and giggles, would it be better to sell my entire kit and choose something like a Vortech JTB or an ESS G3X/R?
