Got my letter yesterday finally, now just need to find a dealer that I don't have to wait a month to get a service date that's close to me. My selling dealer is always a long wait for any service except oil changes and I do those myself.

Waiting on this one isn't a big deal imo, I mean we already waited 3 years for this to even be identified šŸ˜‚

Oh I not the least bit worried my brake fluid is going to suddenly disappear.

I got this in the mail as well, also had a local dealer call and leave me a message about it. They said exactly what ShadeTree mentioned. Im not bothering with it, sounds like they should of got it right the first time

Luckily I have a good dealer, service writer, and a buddy thats a tech. They’re coming out to do both of mine next Friday. Doesn’t bother me one bit. What would bother me is it not being taken care of. Can’t complain about seven days from letter to solution.

I can handle a week's wait time just not a month or more.

I will definitely be using the mobile service to get my car done.

Now that I have a Whipple, I imagine I can just put the factory tune back in before they come. After they leave I can return the Whipple tune.

Of course, more research will be needed in my case, because I am just assuming.....

You can probably just ask your dealer. Being that your car is an SA car, they shouldn’t give you any hassle over the Whipple (assuming SA has a warranty that takes over for Ford’s like the FP, Roush, etc.)

That’s good SA saved the oem tune for you. Whipple didn’t have that as part of there install instructions when I did mine. Luckily my buddy is a mastertech for Ford so it was easy to get the oem reflash when I removed everything.

Well, I’m assuming again. I have not gotten verification that they have the stock calibration saved. Past experience with Whipple had me using their ā€œFlareā€ tool, which saved the factory tune on it. I am only assuming they still do it this way, and that was what was done this time.

You had a Whipple and removed it?

It was on my 350, not my 500. Same blower. I was using there supplied tool as well. Wether they said to save the tune or not, I knew better. That was on me. I just wanted to hear the car run.
