Dead battery

[SSG 5.0]

I was going to jump the car and buy a new battery but the car won’t even open. The fob is good because when I tried using the fob auto start, the fOB blinked red 3x.

What are my other options or I’m stuck. Call the insurance to tow the car to dealership or just call any type locksmith. Thanks

Roger. If you have the two factory FOBs, I believe each will have a physical key.

Yep no key smh. Also, I can see the key hole under the door handle. Talk abundantly luck. My F-150 would not start earlier and had to get jumped. Took it to auto zone to get the battery tested and it’s all good

I would have a lock smith come by open the door but I don't like how they shove that thing between the window and door seal. Good luck.

I've had them use the inflatable bag between the door and body. It did zero harm. It worked so well I considered buying the bag and stick to unlock it, may still.
When I bought my car it only had 1 key fob. The car was CPO so the dealer owed me a key. Long story short, I met the mobile locksmith at the dealership. He provided the new key, programed and cut it and deleted any other stored keys. Took about 25 minutes.
Anyway, I suggest asking your local dealership who they use and give them a call.

As an aside, I had the locksmith cut me a couple of extra emergency keys. One is in the safe at home and the other is very well hidden but very easily accessible on the exterior of the car for just such emergencies as the OP is experiencing.

Thanks for all suggestions and now I know a few things I didn’t know in the future.

After opening the fob then reassembled, the car unloaded. The battery is definitely dead and bought a new one. Autozone doesn’t carry the negative terminal so I reused the old one. Either hit the dealership or find a Mustang vendor that carries the negative terminal. Negative terminal needs to get changed asap.
