You cannot get a regular cab in 5.5ft bed, but, you can get it in the 6.5ft bed or 8ft. My dad currently has a regular cab short bed(6.5ft) 2wd with the 5.0. Fun truck stock, he can't get my mom on board of supercharging it as it scares her now. LOL

Correct, the RCSB is a 6.5' bed.

The FP700 makes my pants tight. I wish I could convert my '19 RCSB 4X4 with the 5.0, which is pretty fun as it is.

I had 2 SS 1LEs before and a challenger scat pack. both cars were more 'fun' probably due to the stick and my kiddos 'fit'.

I had a GT PP back in the day...I preferred the 1LEs but the backseat of the camaro is more useless than the one in the Mustang.

My small dog barely fits in the Mach back seat with the drivers in its normal position, but at least you have the option to make space unlike the C8 of course. What we dads do for our kiddos, right? Long ago I wanted a 69 pace car Camaro but ended up having to go the opposite direction with a hugger orange 71 Chevelle convertible so I could get all three daughters in the back seat!

Sounds like you need a 23 Mach 1 with a manual before you can’t find them new anymore. Trust me when I say you won’t regret it and especially with kids!

I have two ‘23 Machs, a fairly well loaded up premium A10 and a very basic M6 stripper, whose only option is Nav. Increasingly the base manual car gets the call. For pure unadulterated fun I don’t see how you beat it. And for 57K-ish new it seems like a bargain. I bought this one in July so I’m sure you could do better now. Just look hard and don’t dally.

I too love my Mach 1 for lots of reasons like drive ability and heritage. I vote to keep the Mach.

Like others, I'm thinking about getting rid of my Mach. My direction is going back to a classic though. I was at a show this past weekend, and it made me realize how much I want a 69-70 M1 or a 68-69 Torino 428 CJ car.

My car is never driven, and it's a waste for it to sit in the garage and not be driven. It's a fun car and I enjoy driving it. Time will tell, maybe just an itch that I will never scratch.

If you’re able to, do what I did and enjoy one of each. I jump in my 71 Boss when I want a raw and old school visceral drive, then the Mach for new school comfort while still having a blast with the experience it brings. Just saying…

There are days I want to upgrade my GT to a '22 GT500, and then I remember I've only put 11,4XX miles on the GT in the eight years I've owned it (under 500 this season) and it seems like a foolish use of that kind of money since I know me and that Shelby would gather dust even more. All five of my garage stalls at home are full and I've been looking at '70 Mach 1s too, and the vehicle that would have to go to get one would be the '15. I love my S550, but that '70 Mach would look nice next to my '67 Cougar...

That thought has crossed my mind, Im fortunate enough that my M1 is paid for, so adding another one to the fleet is an option. But honestly, I feel like its a waste for my car just sittin in the garage, not being used for its intended purpose. We will see, thanks for reply.

My '23 Wrangler Rubicon shares the building with the S550 and Cougar as well as my motorcycles. The other (attached) garage houses the two boring drivers, my F150 and the wife's Tiguan.

I need more room. I've pondered building something on a lake lot I bought a couple of years ago but don't really want to house vehicles two hours away unattended, not to mention I haven't decided if I'll keep it or flip it and it will be more appealing as a blank slate.

I think it just depends on your situation - I sold my C7 Grand Sport before getting my Mach 1 and don't regret it. But my situation is such that I want to be able to drive my car every time I go somewhere, to work daily, when I have my grandson every weekend, in the winter.....

The Mach 1 just fits my situation and is much more of a practical daily driver.

Now, if I was retired, maybe didn't have my grandson that often, lived down south where I didn't have bad winters....then it would be a more difficult decision.

As an owner of Vettes/Mach1 and not relying on 3rd party opinions, the C8 has more HP but is a royal pain in the azz to get in/out of as compared to Mach1. They each have advantages/disadvantages depending on your own preferences. Quality is equal. After that it comes down to appearance.
