  1. TSB 24-2046

I would be hesitant to even let them make a change to my A10...it shifts pretty well in all modes. Luckily, it doesn't seem to include the 2023's, so maybe whatever the fix is, was included on the 2023's. I had a 2022 GT A10 and it shifted horribly. I had to keep it in normal mode because...
  2. RPM's fluctuating at idle?

The battery being the issue would seem to be odd, I had no problem starting/driving it Saturday (after being out of town and the car not being started for 8 days). Yesterday it started right up but had the weird pulsing RPM's, so I just left it at home and drove my wife's car. This morning I...
  3. RPM's fluctuating at idle?

I got home and started it and it idled/ran fine. I ran Forscan and it showed the following: ===PCM DTC P050A:00-64=== Code: P050A - Cold Start Idle Control System Performance Status (-64): - DTC Maturing - Intermittent at Time of Request - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC -...
  4. RPM's fluctuating at idle?

Thanks for the insight. I tried blipping the throttle but it did not have any affect to the constant RPM fluctuation when in Park. No "check engine" light but when I get home from work, I'll check Forscan to see if any codes are being thrown.
  5. RPM's fluctuating at idle?

When I started the Mustang this morning, RPM"s consistently fluctuate while in park between about 1,000 and 2,000 RPM. It was like I was giving it throttle and then letting go, over and over. You could hear it from in my house after I remote started it. I went out and turned it off and back...
  6. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

I did not reinstall it and am not really missing it. I bought the TC when I had my 22 GT, because the trans shifting was so sporadic in anything but normal mode, I had to keep it in normal mode and I hated the sluggish feeling of the throttle response. For my Mach 1, I just installed it...
  7. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

I appreciate your help. I won't worry about it unless something new pops up.
  8. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

I took your advice and used Forscan on a laptop. The first two codes on the "PCM" modules do show "Previously set DTC - not present at time of request" The third code, on the OBDII module just says that the P0305 "Malfunction is confirmed".
  9. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

I already cancelled the appt. I have been driving it daily for over a week, including a couple hundred mile trip over the weekend and no signs of an issue. I just assumed that the 1st DTC listed in the report was the most current, and that one doesn't show inactive but I could be wrong about that.
  10. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

If I am reading this right, it appears to be showing that the code is still active? OBD-IIOBD-II DTCs: 99 ---------------------------- P0305 [0x0305] Cylinder 5 - misfire detected Cylinder #5 Misfire Detected Status: Confirmed ---------------------------- P0305(00) [0x030500] Archive...
  11. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

I have not had the engine light come back on and haven't had any noticeable issues when driving but I did pick up a new Vgate vLinker scan tool in case I need it in the future and it is actually showing that Cylinder #5 has a misfire still. What exactly does it mean if it's not setting off the...
  12. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

The TC basically has 2 ends, you disconnect the existing cable going to the gas pedal and connect it to one end of the TC and then plug the other end of the TC back into the gas pedal.
  13. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

That was my thinking also but the only change after having the light consistently on for several drives over a few days, was removing the TC and the light going off and staying off. Like I said though, it could just be a coincidence.
  14. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

Still no engine light or issues this morning, it's looking like it is resolved but I guess time will tell.
  15. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

Well, I have another question, has anyone heard of a throttle controller causing a misfire code? I picked up a scanner on my way home (driving a different car) and when I got home I started the Mach 1 just to make sure the engine light was still on and it was. I connected the OBD2 scanner and...
  16. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

Thanks. I definitely wouldn't be making any engine repairs myself but was at least hoping to maybe narrow down to the specific misfire codes out of curiosity. I also wasn't sure if something like having bad gas could trigger the warning and who knows, by the time I get an appt, I may go...
  17. Got the dreaded "Service Engine Soon" warning light...

The Service Engine light came on in my 23 Mach 1 (and has stayed on solid) a couple of days ago and I can't believe the available appointment times at some of the dealerships for taking it in (a month+ at the first couple that I tried...). Anyways, the car seems to be driving normally but I...
  18. Trade Mach 1 for base 2024 Corvette MSRP $67,895.

Funny thing about my situation was I had C7 Grand Sport and before that a C7 stingray and before that I had a few 5th and 6th Gen Camaro's. I had never even sat in a modern Mustang or considered one (my family worked for GM so I always got the GM discount...). Just by accident, on vacation...
  19. Trade Mach 1 for base 2024 Corvette MSRP $67,895.

While I have not sat in a C8, I would expect it is not much different to get in and out of than a C7 and yes, my C7 was a pain to get in and out of and the Mach 1 is much better in that regard.
