You're going to put a damage and repaired clone CFTP wing on the new GT500? At least make them replace it with one that didn't get banged up.

It’s an easy fixed. It’s just adhesive. No visual damage. They said if I wanted to have it repaired, they would front the bill. My dads an aircraft mechanic and gave me some loctite that would hold an f16 together so I’m sure it would work for my wing. I’m about 90% sure they would simply reattach the winglet and send it right back to me. At least this way I know it would get damaged in shipping again.

Well this didn’t work. I’ve reached out to FFP to see if I can return this wing and get a replacement

Well not GT350 related but I was able to get the wing repaired for the 500.

I would assume, if their glue and process would be OK, the part would more likely be bashed then deglued.

Oooo, tough call…the few branded titles that I have seen on fleabay were in the ~40k range. Bring it to a local track event and put a for sale sign on her…that oughta generate some interest!

Did you get it completely finished? Haven't seen an update in a while.

Wingnutt has a good idea. Assuming it’s finished, that’s probably your best place to get a fair amount. Most people will see the salvage title and run, but most track guys will understand the build and give a respectable number if interested.

As for price, really tough call. Check eBay, dealerships (there’s several that specialize in branded/salvage titles, can’t remember names off the top of my head though), etc to get an idea of market pricing.

Yea the car is not finished. It’s still needing the frame repaired. I’m just worried what I’d put into finishing it would end up being a loss.

Usually you never get your money back on these when the damage is more than superficial.
