Salvage GT350 Build

Just had the ac charged and now it’s making this noise. Any ideas? Sounds like a bearing or something but I don’t recall it making this noise before.

Does the AC work? Did you put some dye in to check for leaks?

It does sound a bit like a bearing, or even something rubbing. In for the answers.

Tested for leaks, all good there just started out of no where.

Car is close to being finished. A few adjustments and touch ups. Going to replace the AC compressor and fix some trim that’s not fitting up good and tight here and there. Finally drove the car for the first time today for about 10 min and it’s my first time with a manual Mustang. This car is fun to say the least. Now I’m rethinking selling it lol.

Been following the evolution of this since you got it. Very cool project.

The calipers... been wanting to do that to my 350 for a while. Did you just buy new calipers from Ford or were they from a donor?

Please post a pic of the whole car with that hood and the calipers. You still selling this to make room for the new one?

I got these off eBay from a donor gt350R. I’ll definitely post more pictures soon. I’m on the fence about selling. I know what the car should be worth but getting people to understand that and pay that could prove difficult so it may stay for now. Just put in my order preferences for the GTD and the “it’s a 300k mustang” are way off when you do the specs. Lol

After a year or more, it’s a wrap on this project. Little dirty in these pics but I’ll post some better ones later on. This was tonight after the first real drive. Glad I finished it.
