Got these ordered today. Carbon hood gt500 style from Anderson Composites and some morimoto xb headlights.

New bumper came in from ford, new radiator carbon composite support as well. I just need the new fender to come in and get can take everything to the body shop so they can start the pulls and alignments

Started test fitting old parts to new bumper cover and finding out I need a few more parts to order due to broken plastic behind the driver side impact area. But all is going well. Everything fits so far. Once these parts snap into place they really donā€™t want to be taken apart. Guess thatā€™s a good thing!

Also spent a few hours disassembling the front end to help the frame guys get to work quicker. Maybe save a few bucks in labor. Car definitely took a good lick on the front. Thatā€™s whatā€™s left of the carbon fiber composite core support. I took it apart and got parts transferred to the new support

got the front bumper about 95% put together this evening. Missing a blinker trim piece. Another member on here is helping me out with a few of his leftover/spare parts. This community is great.

Seat belts came in as the front are locked out on mine. The parts farm had a fresh gt350 come in.

scored a set of open box ford performance lowering springs for about $115.00 via eBay. So I was happy about that.

Installed new hood hinges. You can see how much they got damaged by the accident and by the hood flying up.
Removed the passenger side front fender and found another sign of frame damage. Nothing drastic. Frame shop said when I come in they want to get it on a frame machine asap so my goal is to make that process as easy and as quick as possible. The more I remove the less they have to spend time removing.

I did notice today my AC compressor sounds like itā€™s whining. Ac blows ice cold but it definitely has some kind of issue. I can only hear the whine when I click on the ac. Iā€™ve heard replacing them is a b*tch to do. That may have to wait.

New seatbelts came in. Will install those soon. Just too hot outside to get much done here in Texas.

lastly, does anybody know how to safely removed one of these stick on phone holder/gps base things? Picture attached. This thing is STUCK on good. Afraid to damage my dash by pulling on it.

Same way you remove badges from a fender. Leave car in sun (clearly not a probes in Texas right now.) Get some dental floss and slowly saw away at the adhesive underneath. (Waxed DF works great cause adhesives donā€™t stick to it very well.)

Once you get the disc off, because the adhesive is hot, most of it will come up with just a little work with your fingers.

Use product of your choice to remove remaining residue. (Iā€™ve never used WD40 or goo gone on a Mustang dash so not comfortable recommending it, but WD40 is awesome for removing adhesive.) Just donā€™t know if itā€™ll stain.

So I got a code reader due to my engine light showing and these are what pops up. I did put a new battery in when I purchased. When car is idling I do notice a slight misfire on occasion. I also have been smelling gas fumes when it idles. Not enough but enough for me to notice and think twice about it. My first thought was hmmā€¦ running rich? But thatā€™s because Iā€™m used to working on big block Chevy motors. Any ideas on where to start doing test for a resolve on each code?

The P068A code will appear sometimes when messing with the battery and power. It's nothing to worry about and you should be able to clear it and be 100% fine.

The other ones are likely issues with the sensors or the wiring. The cam sensor will be a big pain to get to. The evap one should be at the front of the manifold and goes to vacuum hoses.

A lot to catch up on. The carbon hood came in and looks great. The carbon track pack style spoiler came in and it looks nice but one winglet is loose. Shipping damage I guess but itā€™s an easy fix so not going to complain. I also will be pouring the slab for the new shop Iā€™m building in my backyard. It will be a 50x60 with a 15ā€™ overhang. Wife is tired of car parts throughout the house and I canā€™t blame her. Also, need more space for actual cars seeing how I added another mustang. Itā€™s a 21 GT500 shadow black and painted Kona blue stripes. Got a deal I couldn't pass on.. So the CFTP wing I was planning on putting on the gt350 is going on the 500.

You're going to put a damage and repaired clone CFTP wing on the new GT500? At least make them replace it with one that didn't get banged up.
