  • 300-911 and 300-912 front inlets can be interchanged between round and oval with service parts
:) Cool!
31 lbs vs 14 lbs of the CJ. Not sure my fat cow could use more weight to slow her down even more! 🤣

I don't see it happening
Whether you see it or not, it happened. From the test it was stated that they hit a hard limiter from the controller at 8100 but the CJ was nosing over where the Holley was still pulling.

One thing to consider is that where the runner may not look all that big where it meets the head, the inlet inside the plenum is huge with the runner having a marginally shorter overall length than a CJ. Runner inlet is about the biggest hangup with the CJ as it is and this has a ton of potential with porting to optimize things a lot.

If I thought I could off-load my Edelbrock I wouldn't hestitate

The plot thickens - three different plenum volumes. Interesting.

In a nutshell: https://www.sae.org/publications/technical-papers/content/2008-01-3007/

Generally bigger is better, but too big can have negative effects on throttle response. It's interesting that there are three options, although they don't differ by a massive amount of volume. The "biggest" one is taller from what I see on the Holley site, which makes sense.
With the packaging being the primary driver of plenum volume, any differences in performance (pos or neg) would be virtually immeasurable.

Probably for choice. More chevy stuff on the market than Ford.
LS throttle body? As in Chevrolet? If so, why?
Not uncommon for people swapping coyotes into other platforms to use LS based TB to go with their Holley controller. Same pattern as GT350 though so it still works fine

GT tb pattern should have been on the snout, GT350 and LS on an adapter.
