@WoodburnGT, what were your 60‘ times on the current Viking shocks?
1.79…..but still launching at idle….not foot braking at all. With my 19 year old son doing the driving, I wanted to keep everything as simple as possible and consistent. All we have to concentrate on is our dial-in time and reaction time. Last year being our 1st season at the track, we realized it’s extremely hard to win a elimination round against guys who are dead-on with dial-in’s and crush the tree. At some point we’ll make the transition to a converter/trans brake and launch off a button.

@WoodburnGT, the inverted shocks will be nice to gain some extra clearance between the half shaft boot and shock body. Is your car non Magneride?

It’s non. I have about 3mm of clearance now with the G-Force boots…..going inverted and it’ll be a non issue👍

@WoodburnGT, did you get your Ultra Spec Inverted Vikings installed yet? If so, have you seen any improvement? What settings are you using?

I have mine installed, but still no track time for me yet. I’ve put about 125 street miles on them though. They are noisy at takeoff and slow speed driving if I’m not super smooth with my clutch, which is hard to do with a cerametallic unit.

I’m not complaining about the noise, as a warning of such was stated in the product description. I’ll gladly live with that if I can get better performance off the rip.

Yup, on the car now. We’ve only made 1 full pass so far. I have them on my settings from last year. Most of our races so far have been canceled due to weather. At some point I’ll start messing with settings…but my #1 reason for buying them was to keep the boots from the G-Force axles off the shock body.

Same here. On that one pass, did you see an improvement in your sixty?
